Restaurant Normandin Du Vallon

Unfortunately, bad expérience. We had to wait almost one hour for our food. Once received, the food was cold. We went on Sunday. June 29 for 11am. Won't be back anytime soon.

Wow, unimpressed by the overall organization of this restaurant. Have been to other Normandin before and this one just ruined it for me.

Asked upon arrival if we have reservation - which is fine. But then to discover that the Service was delayed to the max - almost an hour wait for mediocre food.

Waitress brought out kids meal first and it took almost 30min for adults meals to arrive. And at the end when we ask for the bill she asks if the child would like to have dessert.....you should have asked when you brought out the adult meal as the child was already done their meal. Especially with the amount of time we spent in the restaurant already.

Will not be returning to this one.

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would do so immediately. The staff were lazy, moody, and rude. It was a long wait and the food wasn't even good. I got home and barfed my guts out. Turns out I got food poisoning!

They weren't kind and the food was terrible. TERRIBLE! No one should ever eat here, I wouldn't wish it upon my greatest enemy!

Not very nice waiters

I went to Normandin when I was a child and teenager. I gave up when I was a young adult. I've been there twice now with my children and I'm pleasantly surprised. Very pleasant welcome, really inexpensive children's menu and very generous portions. There was a Christmas drawing competition, they loved it. Very family-friendly, we really enjoyed our experience. The kitchen is good.

Samedi le 14 décembre vers 6 h Avec mon amie nous sommes allés déjeuner...moi j,ai Commandé des crèpes (3), je ne sais pas comment le cuisinier les a fait cuire, mais le contour était sec comme des chips environ 1.5 pouces tout le tour....d'après moi il a pris de la pâte à pizza 🤨et le goût n,était pas comme à l'habitude...De grâce faites attention..

Asked for brunch and poutine breakfast. They forgot to put my sausage and ham in my lunch. 1h10 wait for a takeaway order. And the waitress is very cheeky, saying that she doesn't have crooked eyes.

We were a small group in a proven lounge. We waited 1 hour to receive our lunch. The toast was placed on fresh fruit which was soft. To complete, a corny-looking waitress. Finished for me.

First time at Normandin and certainly my last! We ordered and repeated the order three times. The waitress still managed to bring us the wrong food. The bathroom has no soap, stinks of cigarettes and had ashes on the bowl. This is the worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time.

First time at Normandin, I ordered a poutine (very small portion for the price), plus we inquired about meals on the menu and a very stupid response from our waitress. Being a waitress myself, I understand the lunch “rush” but honestly I would never answer the way she answered us. Cold meal, toast burn and cold?. First time and last time here!

The service is better than before (faster). We don't expect great gastronomy. That's okay. Atmosphere of regulars who come regularly.

Always a great breakfast option. Good food and good service! The assiette campagnarde with meat along with the morning basket are winning options and kids love their options!

Saturday September 21, we arrived around 5:45 a.m. and no one came to see us before 6:10 a.m., despite the lack of traffic in the restaurant, I had to get up and ask a waiter if there was had someone take care of my table, he told me it's my colleague, so the section was divided in two, I had the misfortune of falling between two sections, despite this the waiter took our order, and he apologized...
I ask the manager of LaSalle to see that the customers are served as soon as possible, or at least to serve us a drink of some kind... and this is not the first time that I have fallen between two sections...

After a few years I finally decided to give Normandin a chance after the last bad experience and I can assure you that I was very disappointed. I came to eat last night around 6 p.m., after 2 hours of waiting seated at a table we decided to leave since we never received our food. How come there are so many problems and so little management coming from such a large restaurant chain? Normandin is no longer what it used to be.

Previous review: Normally I have no problem with the waiting time and the quality of my food, however, exceptionally on the evening of August 17, we waited approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes before receiving our order even though the restaurant was empty.
