Excellent ceviche (the best in town?) and great service!
The prices are reasonable for the type of food offered, and the atmosphere becomes very festive (DJ) after 9:00 a.m.
Parking: Commercial street with parking meters, and surrounding streets with free parking.

Very disappointed with the service, we were constantly waiting, my father ordered a bottle of wine and we waited 10 minutes to receive it while the restaurant was half empty. So I got up to ask if there had been anything forgotten but the waiter told me that he had lost the bottle opener and that the boss had gone to look for one. the least we could have done was to notify us. Besides this incident, we were left waiting for a lot of time and we clearly saw the waiter behind the bar who was leaning on the counter and chatting with his colleagues. As for the food, I always get the ceviche lima when I go there, I don't know if it was from the service experience but it didn't impress me much compared to the last few times.

Food was very good, we tried ( chicharrón mixto as a plate , yuca frita and the juice was maracuya juice ) service was excellent, the place was very welcoming and very clean I loved the restaurant in general. Will definitely recommend it if you’re in Quebec

Good restaurant. The meals are delicious and the plates well stocked. A great discovery!
The staff is courteous. The only problem for me was the music was too loud or too present so it should be a background accessory. In short, I recommend this restaurant!

Delicious. I had the lomo saltado - the plate is generous: served with fries and rice. The beef was well marinated and tender, with onions and large, sweet green onions. The fries, like always the Peruvian style, are very salty. The restaurant is open until 3am on Fridays. They have a lot of varieties of ceviche (but it's not my thing) and so otherwise the rest of the menu is not that varied in terms of main dishes but they have a lot of starters. Very friendly service - difficult to find parking though. Very hot inside too.

It is a Peruvian restaurant in Quebec City, offering a fusion of traditional and contemporary dishes. Guests frequently praise the fresh and flavorful ceviche, as well as the authentic lomo saltado. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service enhance the dining experience, with many patrons appreciating the vibrant Latin ambiance. However, the restaurant's small size can lead to limited seating availability.

Very underwhelming experience from a place that has so many good reviews! We were excited to find a Peruvian restaurant in Quebec City and after looking at the photos of the food and reviews decided to go.
As we arrived, we were surprised to see how small the place was! There were many tables open since we went on a Monday night. Our options for a 2 person table were literally right next to the door or the bathroom. We chose the one closest to the bathroom to avoid the cold breeze but had to put up with the smell of febreze.
We ordered a seafood platter for two and waited almost 40 minutes for it to arrive. The shrimp causas were extremely simple and not tasty, the ceviche was good, the fried fish was good but there was no sauce to eat it with besides a small thing of huancaina sauce, and the seafood rice was ok. It also took an eternity for the server to refill water and there was no communication for the reason as to why the food took so long to come out. It was not a busy night! We left disappointed and surprisingly still a little hungry.

A piece of Peru on St Jean! A culinary change of scenery guaranteed in a modern and relaxed atmosphere. The portions are generous and the choices varied. Several vegetarian or vegan options are available and the service is attentive to food allergies and accommodating. The drinks menu is also attractive and original.

Dietary restrictions: The service is attentive to food allergies.

Disappointing this time
I went to this restaurant last Sunday and, honestly, I was disappointed. This was not my first visit, but this time the food quality was not up to my expectations. We thought it would be better, but the dishes lacked flavor and refinement.
That said, the service was absolutely excellent! The staff were warm, attentive and very professional, which was a positive aspect of the experience.
On the other hand, the quality-price ratio really disappointed me. We paid $200 for four courses, dessert and two drinks, including tip, which seems excessive to me considering the quality of the meals. For this price, I expected something much better.
Plus being a family restaurant, I find it a shame that there aren't even functional colored pencils or activities for children. It would have been a simple but appreciated gesture for the families who come to eat there.
Unfortunately, I left with a mixed impression and am not sure I will return.
