The staff was very rude, denied dine in @9.25 even though they close at 10, we still agreed for take out, but they didn’t provide cutlery even after I asked them, they denied that they don’t carry the cutlery, what kind of restaurant doesn’t carry cutlery?????

Disappointing Experience at This FAKE Indian Restaurant
Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was far from pleasant. From the moment we stepped inside, we encountered unfriendly service, which dampened the experience. As visitors from Ontario, this was our first time in Quebec City, and our past experiences at Indian restaurants, where we’ve typically been greeted with warmth, made this encounter all the more surprising.
We noticed a lack of basic courtesy, such as a simple greeting or even a smile from the staff. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable, especially given that many reviews suggest similar experiences.
One aspect that stood out negatively was the expectation of tipping. While it’s customary in many places, here it felt almost obligatory, regardless of the quality of the food or service. To our surprise, we were directly asked for a tip, which was a first for us despite visiting many restaurants over the years.
The ambiance features images of temples, the Taj Mahal, and other cultural elements, but the overall vibe felt unwelcoming. The food itself was below average and didn’t live up to the authentic Indian flavors we expected, with a limited menu that didn’t offer much variety.
Overall, we were disappointed by the experience and hope the restaurant improves its hospitality in the future.

I recently visited Saveurs de l’Inde while touring Quebec from Toronto and was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the chicken biryani and chicken tandoori, expecting a flavorful taste of Indian cuisine.
Unfortunately, the biryani was just a bland mixture of rice and oil, with the chicken prepared separately, and added to Briyani rice. It’s lacking the rich spices and depth typical of the dish. The kurma was unrecognizable as Indian food, and as an Indian myself, I’ve never encountered such a poorly made dish.
To make matters worse, I was charged $59 for the meal, which I found unreasonably high given the poor quality. After a few bites, I couldn’t continue eating and ended up throwing the food in the garbage.
Overall, this experience was far from satisfactory, and I wouldn’t recommend Saveurs de l’Inde based on this visit. Since I don’t have option to give zero star, I am forced to give one star for this.

Still super good but a little too expensive for what it is. $50 in total for a combo for 1 person while other restaurants of the same quality cost around $30.

Worst experience ever, fake indian restaurant, ordered naan, it tastes very sweety and doesn't looks like a naan and ordered Madras chicken curry, few pieces of chicken in the tomato chilli sauce, vegetable biriyani we don't find any biriyani flavor in that, over all the food is worst I've ever had in my life.

The food is delicious, quick service and I appreciated the kindness of the employees.
The parking can be a little tricky to find if the street is full but it is decent.
The atmosphere is ok, the place look old and small but the food really makes the experience worth it.

Got takeout through DoorDash and couldn’t eat any of it. The vegetable korma was super sweet and the chicken biryani was extremely bland. They also forgot to give us napkins and utensils. Overall very disappointed.
