Disappointing Experience on My First Visit

Dear Second Cup Customer Service,

I recently visited Second Cup for the first time and ordered a latte froid. I realized afterward that I had forgotten to ask for sugar, so I approached the counter to request some. I was told there would be an extra charge, which I was happy to pay.

However, I was taken aback by the staff member’s attitude. Although she maintained a polite expression, she spoke to me in a rude and condescending tone, almost shouting. It made me feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially as a first-time customer.

I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it will be taken seriously, as I believe customer service is just as important as the quality of your beverages.

Good atmosphere, great coffee, tasty pastries

Good coffee, calm spot to work, read books or newspapers or just chat with someone, the staff are friendly, and there's is a cute little seating area outside, perfect for the hot humid weather in summer.

Vanilla late , blueberry muffins and spinach pretzel are my favourites.
My visit to quebec City was great because of you guys, keep it up plz !!

Too bad to have this family cafe made a mess of new arrivals who do not respect our loyal customers our students, these new ones speak loudly without respecting the others 9 people in a table in the center and 4 drinks on the table ? These new ones blocked the door for smoking without respecting 9 m? The problem no manager here he can handle this problem. Do you know that you are losing Canadian customers every day. The beautiful image of second cup and part.

I loved the dark chocolate and hazelnut latte, it’s the best special coffee I’ve had!! The staff is always very courteous and friendly! I recommend!

Hi, it's really a shame to have new customers who don't respect the rules and laws???
Customers who 🚭 smoke in front of the door, more than 5 people without respecting the 9 m distance?, customers who speak loudly without respecting other customers.. We are unable, like students, to work.. So the only solution is to leave the second in place of the cup...

I won't come back to your cafe again! The waitresses were not patient and seemed bored! And for the food we will pass! the sandwich wasn't even good, for the price it cost me I'm sincerely disappointed!! 😠😤

I hope the owners will read this message. I had the misfortune of going down to their basement washroom in July. One was closed so I used the only one with the door open. First, I'll spare you the entire uncleanliness of the room. I STAY EMBARRASSED. THE LOCK COMPLETELY FROZEN?. Being alone in a basement how long would I have stayed?????? I looked at the tiny hole and had to crawl out. Imagine if I had been overweight without a cell phone in this dingy place. Those in charge clearly admitted to me that another lady had the same thing happen to her. Tip: in 2024 the locks must have an external mechanism which allows the bar to be pushed. Impossible with an interior lock... I don't understand how you can leave this basement abandoned and offer bathrooms like this filled with graffiti....I'll pass on my dirty beige pants and my pain from behind after crawling. Absolutely unacceptable.?
