As an Anglo from Alberta, I’ve been here before and loved the atmosphere, beers, and food so on a return trip since 2021/2022 I’m happy to report they are still very welcoming to us not so strong with the French language.
Only problem I could pick out was my chicken sandwich was a little smaller than I pictured. But the poutine was great and plentiful

Would not return, server got my order wrong twice. Poutine cold. Cheese not melted just chucks, and gravy cold. Burger was misleading double burger is like eating one patty. Server was very nice. Not for me.

Whether it was the atmosphere, the service or the food, everything in my opinion was perfect. I had a large nachos and believe me the portions are generous! Also the tavern's grilled cheese is a MUST to try! Finally, prices vs quantity and quality is extremely good! For $47 excluding tip we even took some home!
I extremely enjoyed my customer experience and will not hesitate to return!

I was serviced by bartender Jay , the best bartender service I've ever received in Quebec. Jay has full potential to operate this tavern at 100 % capacity. He is totally alert and exercising a professional bar service at all time . I would recommend him as a potential manager any time .. You're the tops Jay !
