Delightful plates, fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation make for a great dining experience. The chocolate white honey crème brûlée and brunch menu are highly recommended. This is a gluten-free restaurant before all. Most options are gluten-free, with few vegan options. Bistro Hortus offers a very interesting menu, with all the necessary gluten-free precautions. Everything was delicious, and there is a nice wine selection too. The breakfast poutine with duck eggs was like an elegant stew. The salmon with lobster bisque was a delight. The duck egg omelet with Quebec mushrooms and a refreshing salad hit the spot. If in Old Quebec, it is definitely worth your time.
