We had an incredible dining experience at Verre Pickl’. We’re six Floridians visiting Quebec, and as someone who loves food and more “cheffy” establishments, I was so excited to come across Verre Pickl’. I’m very glad we were able to snag a reservation. The food was outstanding. We were joined by a friend visiting from Mexico, and he raved about the tamales and the flavors, which reminded him of home.
I also want to highlight how accommodating the team was. One of our guests does not eat gluten or red meat, and Alex was incredibly helpful. I reached out by email, and she thoughtfully arranged special items so our guest could fully enjoy the meal.
We felt genuinely well cared for throughout the evening, and you can truly feel how passionate the chefs are. At the end of the meal, we were offered a digestif and treated to an incredible cocktail. I love being able to support and dine at an establishment like this! Keep it up!

The food here is amazing. The service is impeccable. The concept is unique.
I was hesitant about going because it's out of my budget but it was so worth the splurge. It is one of the best meals I've ever had. Im still dreaming about the mole 🥹 There is a set menu that changes monthly but Jerome assured me that vegetarian options are available and possibly substitutions. (Im not a great photographer 🤭)

Verre Pickl’ has a winning formula. One table, one seating, 16 strangers that become friends by the end. Add excellent food using local ingredients with a Mexican flare and a great host, Jerome, it checks all the boxes. Our French is 1/10 but the fellow guests and Jerome were happy to include us with English as needed. We felt like we went to a friends house for dinner. I’ll recommend Verre Pickl’ to anybody coming to Quebec City. Alex and Jerome truly believe in local ingredients and we love supporting local farmers. The wine pairing was well thought out and a great addition to the set menu.

The restaurant is cozy, Alexandra and Jerome are two great enthusiasts of gastronomy and good wine and above all, they know how to entertain. The experience is always just as perfect: copious services, well-crafted products and what I prefer: a little Mexican touch, whether it's a sauce or a chili pepper that makes Quebec products shine.
