One of the best sushi experiences I've had. My husband and I are sushi fans and snobs & this place did not disappoint. It's by far one of my favorite sushi spots. The food, service and am beyond our top notch.

We ate here last summer for dinner, the food was exceptional, service great, ambience nice for a small establishment. Our visit for lunch was far far away from our original experience. We live in Palm Desert and were traveling to Anaheim for an overnight. Thought a few more miles out to the beach would be nice especially since we had such a great experience previously. Service lacked from start to finish. Server put the wrong order in, when it was delivered to our table was described as what I ordered, clearly was not. When I called the server to our table, she said yes, that it what you ordered. I challenged her, she came back and said, ok we will fix it, meanwhile she wanted our next order. 20 minutes later my original order delivered. Of note, table next to us had similar issues. Service was lacking, no apologies for incorrect food. Then shift change occurred, our server left, no introduction, no alerting us that our server was leaving. Second shift never checked in on us, had to flag someone down to get the check. The food was good but the establishment lacks professionalism, a great manager would alleviate most of these issues. Sincerely hope they can turn things around. Would like to come back if service up to par as first visit experience.

Yuzu has good food but the prices are outrageous. We've been several times but at this point it's not worth $250 for dinner for4. (that's with no alcohol)

We tried yuzu for first time, and it was very busy as usual . We had the calamari, the beauty roll, and laguna beach roll, and all were very good. A friend had the chicken teriyaki and it was great. Overall very good, but the signature rolls were pricey

The food was exceptional! Our waiter was very attentive and kept the dishes moving. The atmosphere had a great vibe - would definitely dim the lighting outside! We expected it to be on the pricey side and that, unfortunately, was definitely the case. If they could adjust prices down $2 or $3 they'd kill it. It will not be a once a month stop for us but will absolutely be on our "special occasion" list.

Ambiance and staff are very nice. Service was prompt. My role that had crab and my wifes baked scallop dish which also had crab tasted a bit "fishy". The yellowtail carpaccio was very thin and not as flavorful as I prefer. The small cucumber salad at $9 was not a very good value.
Yuzu is our favorite for sushi in Laguna. Always delicious and excellent service 🙏 Leaf Me Alone is a veggie roll and is so unique and extra delish-fave veggie roll anywhere. Millionaire roll is hubbies favorite. Salad for a starter with garlic edamame and miso....yummy! ♥️

This is our second time dining on the patio of Yuzu Laguna Beach with our two large dogs, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The service is so professional and yet so warm and welcoming and the food is outstanding! Really a lovely experience in every way possible!

My husbands favorite was the scallops and my son loved everything. As for me, I had the Miss Lynn BUT, theirs was fresh, light and full of flavor.
