Very good food I took a griot very large proportion for the price, the owner very nice and I only waited 5 minutes before having my griot. I recommend this restaurant, you wouldn't be in it.

Being a fan of Creole dishes, I decided to try Caïmite Créole mainly out of curiosity as I regularly pass by the establishment on Notre-Dame.I opted for a large griot dish. The portion is very generous for the price. (I was able to make myself a lunch for the next day!) The sticky rice is excellent, the weighed bananas perfectly cooked and the griot well fried, however I found that it was not marinated enough. (Maybe because I stopped by before dinner time?) Fortunately, the little sauce and the very spicy pikliz added flavor to the meat.The service was very welcoming and fast. The only item that disappointed me was that there were only 4 items on the menu. However, the quality is there. In addition, the gentleman who served me told me that it will be redone soon.In conclusion, I plan to return there when I want a good Haitian dish, since it is located near my home.
