When a restaurant is called "Tomato Basil", we expect the restaurant to know what a margharita pizza is. What a disappointment... lousy crust with no structure, tomato sauce that tastes watery, no basil leaves, no slice of fresh mozzarella! Just a few diced tomatoes and a puddle of barely melted mozzarella.

Very chic restaurant. I appreciate the separation between the restaurant-bar and the dining room, the waiters know the menu and drinks very well. The wine is very good, the pasta is excellent as well as the mussel dish.We tried to locate it in Pointe-aux-Trembles but particularly liked this one in Repentigny.

Very good food the only thing there were 5 of us with a reservation for 5 p.m. The service was very very long we received our plates at 6:50 p.m. and we had to leave the table by 7:30 p.m. so not even time to have a coffee which was included in the table d'hôte.

I didn't know about the Tomato Basilic banner before setting foot there and I was pleasantly surprised! The meal choices are numerous and what I ate was excellent, without insisting on quality service and a cozy atmosphere. The only problem in my opinion is the wine list, which takes up two small pages and which includes very few choices -- from memory, at most around ten red wines. For a restaurant offering such good food, the wine selection should be more extensive. Finally, to discover if you don't know!!!
