Great stop between Vermont and Quebec City, very close to the main route. Charming place with outdoor seating, laid back cool vibe, and live music on the September Saturday afternoon we visited. We had excellent smoked meat and local beers, highlight of this leg of our drive!

Two beautiful evenings spent at l’Ardoise! Staff, owners, extended family...all more friendly than the last. The place is beautiful, bright, there is space, it breathes and the decor piques our curiosity. Very good beers!

L’ardoise est une microbrasserie (coopérative brassicole) avec une jolie terrasse sur la rue principale à Richmond. Les bières (4) que nous avons dégustées étaient toutes tres bonnes. Il y a aussi un petit menu de nourriture (ok). Je recommande fortement. On y retrouve un décor design à l’intérieur. Le staff est friendly et attentif.

A great discovery at the vintage car exhibition... At the end of the street there is this charming micro brasserie with indoor and outdoor tables. Nachos and hamburger with pulled meat. And I liked their bitter beer.
