Really had a terrific breakfast here. I decided to eat outdoors and it was a very pleasant experience. Felt more like a European café than anywhere I've been in Quebec so far.

Our weary family of 9 stopped in to La Desserte for lunch as we passed through on our way to Quebec. Event though they were about to close, the treated us with amazing hospitality, making us sandwiches, bringing out pitchers of water and engaging us in good conversation, never making us feel like we were imposing. The sandwiches were delicious and the hosts so welcoming. We wished our return route sent us in that same direction.
