Restaurant Terrasse de Chine

The food was pretty good, although I will say the salt and pepper tofu had a very weird bitter taste that made it difficult to eat and I had to throw the rest out. Everything else we ordered was very good though and for once I found a place that actually does the stir fry egg noodles that I've been looking for and the vegetables that were in it were super fresh and delicious. I will also say it was a bit disappointing that the pineapple chicken doesn't actually have pineapple chunks in it but my husband still enjoyed it and I guess that's why it's just called chicken balls in red sauce. This will probably be our new go to from now on.

Lastly I will say for anyone new to the place (like I was), this is NOT a dine in place. It is only for take out and delivery only so don't expect to go there and eat. You can sit to wait for your food to be ready but that's it. I saw one review on here talking about that but it literally says on the door before you walk in that it's only for pick up and delivery.

Very happy with everything we tried. I ordered a pick up order, there was a lot of food and they kindly put it in a box for easy transport. I would definitely recommend and will return!

The place has tables but refused to let us eat food there. We were traveling from Sherbrooke to Ottawa.

I cannot give less than one star rating otherwise it would be 0. Terrible, awful, never again. We ordered very basic dishes (General Tao, fried rice, hot and sour soup). The only way there are more stars for this resto is that people don't know better, are desperate (like we were) or the resto is doing some website optmisation.

This is not Chinese cuisine. There was no oyster sauce or garlic or egg in my fried rice. And, minimal vegetables with dry beef bits. The chop suey was watery. I will never go back.

We were on a road trip and the kids wanted Chinese food for dinner so we tried it. Pleasantly surprised! It’s a humble little spot, busy with takeout & delivery orders on a Friday night. The spring rolls were so good!! We would definitely stop by again.

Service was mediocre, food was horrible. $70 for 3 combination plates served in jailhouse trays, dry white rice, and warm tap water to drink. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

So far, we've had Dinner #2 with Won Ton soups (literally the best I've ever had) and (on another occasion) Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. Very fresh, tasty, generous portions with a sweet, thoughtful surprise on our first order. Lovely, smiling service in a cute little spot. We're so happy to have found Terrasse de Chine in Rigaud!! Try it! You'll love it!!
