One of the best restaurants in Rimouski opened in this cold month of February, serving French-inspired cuisine. Both comforting and sophisticated, the 7-course dishes during our visit contained scallops, carrots, anchovies, gnocchi, duck, haskap and apricots, highlighted by the velvety creamy aspect of the sauces, emulsions and reduced broths, all well balanced. We take advantage of the good bread served at will to recover the bottom of the dishes because it is so tasty. Big advantage it's a "bring your own wine", the service and the atmosphere are pleasant. Tommy the chef also offers another good table, that of Losange which we will happily try.

Great experience! The flavors were amazing. The service was perfect and the atmosphere became less noisy after 9 p.m. was perfect for us. If I had just one downside, go easy on the salt because the finesse of the gravlax-style halibut was overshadowed by its sauce. Otherwise everything was perfectly seasoned. What can I say about dessert: I almost reached heaven with this pavlova with berries and white chocolate and its light ricotta cream. You took me out of my comfort zone with the raw scallop starter with its anchoïade and to my great surprise it was one of my favorites of the 7 courses. Looking forward to coming back to visit you soon!!

What a great discovery this was for us. Don't be fooled by the rather banal exterior of the restaurant. Inside it is welcoming and refined, with beautiful objects from local artisans.
