Un certain temps d'attente, on y était vers 12h30 un dimanche. Mais l'attente en valait la peine une guédille aux crevettes la meilleure que j'ai mangé. Mon conjoint avait une demande spéciale frite sauce brune avec crevettes homard crabe et pétoncles (poutine de la mer sans fromage) après quelques explications supplémentaires il a eu sa spécialité et c'était délicieux.

La Cantine de la mer wins the lobster roll fight hands down! Purjutant of lobster and small pickled vegetables in a toasted bread with butter and happiness. You take it, you go and get it done at the lighthouse and you beat yourself up because you're making good life decisions. Don't stop!

Almost $6 for a mini bag of fries barely filled more than half the bag.. I told them that it was much too small for the price.. they laughed at me..in addition when arriving at the house several were believed...I gave several chances but it was the last time!You're lucky that the tourists are here for a few months...otherwise it wouldn't work for you..

Nice place, well located, with a view of the river. I had a small Seafood Poutine as a meal. The seafood was good but nothing more. The house bechamel sauce was simple and bland. I found it didn't taste like much. The fries were undercooked I believe. They weren't very good. I forced myself to finish my meal honestly. It was okay. Customer service was good but the cashier was not very courteous. Also, it is unclear when we received our order. They name the dish they serve so if several of us have taken it, it is confusing. Proper cleanliness. Table available outside to eat. The idea of the slate to write things down for customers is a nice idea.

What a disappointment, this prawn club: very little generous in prawns, but above all, made with prawns without interest, without taste, in the region of prawns!!!! For the snack section, the fries were downright overcooked, really not good. To forget.
The best lobster roll I’ve ever had. Fresh, generous and full of flavour. 5 star food in small little cantine off the side of the road. I’ll definitely eat here again. If you’re ever in Rimouski, check this place out. You won’t regret it!

Fast and efficient service for order taking. However, some waiting time afterwards. Meals were good.The dining room is a bit cramped and when we were there high chairs and a table were blocking the doors to the bathroom.

Unhappy, very disappointed with my experience. Very long and disorganized service even though we were only a few customers in the canteen. I dare not imagine when there is a queue. I received a lobster roll with very few pieces of lobster. I was literally looking for the pieces. It was more of a roll with peppers/salad… I hope the owners will be able to make improvements, because it is more than disappointing. I do not recommend at all. On the other hand, the French fries and onions are good but that's not enough. Other customers also had cold sausages in their clubs instead of bacon?
