Although it is in the basement, the place is very beautiful and well appointed. Linda's service was excellent and although overworked, she kept a smile. On the other hand, the dishes are below the expected quality in relation to the prices. I had a fish & chip as I often have in restaurants when available. Both the fish and the breading were oozing oil and I doubt the fish was cod; it was so greasy and yellowish. I wondered if the pieces had been soaking in oil for a long time. Same thing for the side salad; she seemed soggy in oil. Bottom line, I was very disappointed with the poor quality of the food. PLEASE NOTE: THE WEB MENU PRICE DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO REALITY IN ANY WAY. The fish & chip is listed at $22 on the website while the restaurant menu lists it at $26. Apart from the excellent service...

To follow up on your response to my message, you will understand that it is very surprising that there is a next time.

Beautiful, good, cheap but no wow
What is mentioned on the menu differs from what is served. We ordered an onion ring which was to be served with homemade mayo on the side, it is served with a mustard coulis. The land and sea was to be served with home fries, it was served with rice. It was the first time that a beet salad was served to me with iceberg lettuce.
If you are a wine connoisseur you will be disappointed with the selection but it is really cheap.
It's good, it's not expensive

We chose this restaurant after reading the reviews. We thought we were making a good choice. I had fried squid as a starter, very disappointed, large rubbery squid with membrane, tasteless breading, the sauce should have been with corriander but I didn't taste it. I expected better in a restaurant in lower St Laurent where the seafood is fresh. As a main course, a filet mignon...cooked medium and it was well cooked. I mentioned it to the waiter and told him it wasn't medium but I was going to eat it anyway. No excuses or desolation? This dish was not worth its price of $46. The positive point was that the steak really tasted like it was grilled. In short, for $90 total for me it wasn't worth it.

Group of 9 people passing through Rimouski for 1 evening, so I consulted the Web to get restaurant suggestions. Looking at the menu (food and alcohol) my choice fell on this restaurant. Little did I know that the experience would not be pleasant.

First of all during the day we have 2 people added. The person called and the restaurant did not have my reservation. However, everything was confirmed to me via text message. Without this addition we would have found ourselves without a place to eat dinner.

As for the menu it is not at all what is on the website. Several people decided to have the risotto but it was not on the menu. Faced with this situation, we asked the waitress why there was so much difference between the web menu and the one on site and she replied very nonchalantly that it was the terrace menu. No possibility of ordering the risotto.

So we started looking at the menu again and when we took our orders she told us that there was no more cod. People in the group must therefore make a choice for the 3rd time. Important when you know that a dish is no longer available it would be appropriate to notify customers before making the choice and not when placing the order.

As for the wine, it's the same thing, the menu is different. We asked if she had Bread and Butter (as on the website) and again based on the attitude of the waitress we had just asked one question too many.

My partner and I ordered the scallop starter for $15. This entry is not worth the asking price at all. Tiny scallops but lots of pasta. As for the scallop, it's a mountain of potatoes with very little shrimp and scallops. One person asked if it was possible to get the shell without the scallop. The response ultimately turned out to be positive, she even received her shell first given that it was different. But bad surprise the 2 scallops from the regular shell were there with the shrimp and the mountain of potatoes.

The waitress was not smiling and she never did anything to find solutions to the many problems encountered.

Please do not come back to me mentioning that it is Covid which is responsible for the service, the updating of the WEB site, the lack of food and errors in orders. Because when I received my invoice I was also impacted by the passage of Covid with the increase in prices. It also seems to me that Covid does not cause people to lose their smile and their good manners.
