Super good and beautiful restaurant at the Universal Hotel. Impeccable and courteous service! Scallops as a starter and classic lamb shank as main dishes. I highly recommend.

We went to Boreal for my birthday supper and as usual it was an amazing supper and the waitress was super great. We spent over 200$ with a generous tip for the four of us which is fine with us because it's expected with the quality of food. I personally have mobility issues and walk very slow. We were parked in the handicapped parking space and as we were about to pull away a waitress named Veronique came to our truck and very ignorantly asked if we paid our bill. I looked at her and said yes and my husband offered to show her our receipt and she refused to look at it. She said the reason is because we left "quickly" which is false, I walk like a snail with my mobility issues and we waited 5 minutes after we paid to leave because I was finishing my drink. I will never drive all the way here from New Brunswick to come here again (which we did for my birthday supper) I am disgusted by the way she treated us. I am not a thief and I atleast want the same respect as I give. Or were my tattoos the problem?

We had booked a room at the Universel hotel which is adjacent to the restaurant. We loved our dishes! Everything was delicious! Impeccable service, and beautiful atmosphere!?too bad it is located far from Montreal...?I will tell all my friends about this restaurant!??
