I’d give 4.5 if I could. I stopped through Rivière-du-Loup on a road trip with my family, and we were thrilled to be treated to dinner in their cozy outdoor patio. Omni menu with plenty of well-marked vegan options. We got the hummus, the falafel burger, the tofu crepe, and a large poutine; all were tasty. The burger and crepe each came with salad and fries (both yummy). I found the burger a bit ‘green’-tasting but it was a hit with my husband and teen. The crepes surprised me with curry + syrup, flavours I didn’t think I’d like as much as we did😄Hummus was solid, slaw and olives a nice touch. The poutine was not your ordinary poutine - it came with veggies and a sweeter gravy than usual; popular with 2 in our party, not so much the other two. Overall, a nice experience, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and we appreciate that they clearly put thought into their vegan dishes. We would return if we pass through again.

Great terasse for dogs. Great selection of wines for such a small establishment. Food was very good, however we had to send back a salad (asked for dressing on the side), and my shish lamb was very dry. Other than that, it was a nice quaint spot!

We found this place while driving from Ontario to Cape Breton Island. We loved the food, atmosphere and staff so much we returned on our way home and whenever we return to CBI to visit family. They offer delicious salads and creative hot dishes in a locally sourced ingredients and recipes traditional to the locale. The atmosphere is fun, creative and artsy. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Bel endroit, on a mangé sur la terrasse. On a été bien reçu avec notre petit garçon. Les options véganes sont bien identifiées et la serveuse savait tres bien nous orienter pour que notre menu soit 100% végane. Elle a elle même apporté le pot de Mayo végane. Tout était bon
I'm still thinking about this meal two weeks later. It was so good. I had the vegan affamee, which was a tofu scramble with this incredible vegan cheese and some kind of nutty patty/paté with fried potatoes). The espresso was fantastic too. We were there early in the day and got the breakfast menu, which was totally different from the photos of the menu we had seen in other Google reviews, just FYI. Certainly didn't mind since the food was amazing and the atmosphere lovely. Honestly this was the most interesting and exquisite meal of a 2.5-week road trip full of lots of good meals. Will go back to L'Innocent if I'm ever lucky enough to be in Quebec again!

What a gem, we were so lucky to find this restaurant on our trip back from the maritimes. The server was so accommodating to host us on the patio with our small pup when most guests were inside due to the weather. They were also able to accommodate various dietary restrictions. The food was amazing, the salmon was delicious, and they also have great vegetarian options. The decor is very fun, we loved the vintage lights on the patio, so cheerful.

Visited on July 2025 with a dog. The restaurant has a cute terrace on the side and is pet friendly. The terrace has a nice view of the Quai when you stand. The food is delicious and varied. The staff is very attentive even asking if my dog needed anything. Very beautiful place to visit.
