Restaurant L' Espadon de l'Auberge de la Pointe

Nous y avons célébré notre mariage le week-end dernier et nous sommes enchantés. Leur service est incroyable du début à la fin. Une visite vous convaincra car l’endroit est incroyable. Une mention spéciale à M. Coté pour sa patience et sa disponibilité. Merci aussi à Samuel pour son service la veille et la journée du mariage. Finalement, nos invités ont adoré le repas, c’était parfait. Je recommande fortement ce bel endroit.

A fantastic dining experience. The flavours of each dish were unique and complimented each other perfectly. Ingredients were very fresh and cooked to perfection.
The desert table had a lovely selection of cakes, pastries and fresh fruit.
Staff were lovely - helpful with recommendations and very friendly.
Our dinner here was memorable for all the right reasons!

Le week-end du 23 au 35 août 2024, nous avons louer une chambre au pavillon de la mer à l’auberge de la Pointe et avons souper au restaurant l’espadon le samedi soir pour souligner notre 41 ieme anniversaire de mariage. Colette notre serveuse et Yanick notre sommelier ont été vraiment au petit soins avec nous. Yanick a pu nous trouver une bonne bouteille de rouge qui respectait notre budget mais le goût de ce vin a dépassé de très loin nos attentes.
Colette nous a guidé à travers nos interrogations de menu et le filet mignon était tout simplement sublime ?

Menu recherché et plats très savoureux! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre souper dans l'ensemble. Le service était aussi très bien. L'entrée de risoto au bison fumé était excellent! Le forfait souper et buffer déjeuner est très intéressant.

Nice welcome, excellent friendly service, nice atmosphere, it's calm and you can hear each other talking.We had the veal flank steak and the sirloin. The flank steak was tough and the back net tight. We have eaten better meats elsewhere…The rest was correct.

Oui c'est bon mais tellement cher que je ne peux pas mettre 5 étoiles, ça ne vaut pas ça malheureusement. De plus, l'attente pour avoir notre premier plat a été vraiment long.

Résident de Rivière-du-Loup, passer une petite nuit à l'Auberge pour décrocher c'est super. L'accueil est parfait, le déjeuner est excellent, la vue est superbe et la chambre est confortable et bien entretenue. Pas de commentaire négatif à apporter, juste du beau! Belle découverte pour nous.

Yes it's good but so expensive that I can't give 5 stars, unfortunately it's not worth it. Also, the wait for our first dish was really long.

Everything was perfect !!!Warm and peaceful atmosphere.Welcome and courteous service upon our arrival.The staff was smiling.Excellent service from the Sommelier.Our waitress Colette was friendly, kind, efficient!!The food was delicious (starter sweetbreads, Cornish chicken, lamb shank) as well as the wine.
