I recommend this quaint spot for a quick get together with friends or need a quick snack while waiting for the train. Terrasse is nice, be aware when train passes it can get noisy.

I was really looking forward to visiting, the place is super charming and has a great vibe. But the service felt a bit distant, and the breakfast options were quite limited. For the price, I expected a bit more. Still, the decor and location are lovely that is all!

Reçu comme un chien dans un jeu de quilles 🎳 Nous nous sommes rendus le 17 avril au Café pour un café/croissant mais il n’y avait plus de croissants et vu l’approche du dîner, un serveur à l’accent français et l’accueil un peu indifférent nous a dit que nous n’avions pas accès à la section qu’il identifiait comme la salle à manger. Bien sûr j’aime l’expérience lorsqu’on commence avec un café/croissant et on enchaîne avec un repas léger assis confortablement. La seule possibilité était de s’asseoir sur un banc de bois souvent utilisé par des gens seuls travaillant à l’ordi ou qui attendent le train. On a quitté pour se rendre à un café découvert récemment à Blainville. J’ai téléphoner pour mieux comprendre et la jeune dame assez gentille m’a expliqué que de toute façon le Café allait devenir plutôt un restaurant et que l’histoire du café/croissant était une affaire du matin. Donc j’imagine à part les passagers du train le matin, c’est pas vraiment un café comme on l’entend souvent. C’est plutôt un café bistrot. Toutefois la jeune femme a ajouté que si on prend une consommation d’alcool là on aurait pu accéder à la partie plus confo du café. Je vais quand même pas me mettre à boire à 11h55 juste pour être assis convenablement. Donc pour les gueux, préférable de prendre le café/croissant ailleurs où tous ont accès aux mêmes fauteuils.

Relaxed atmosphere. Blinds in the windows to block the sun from the eyes would have been appreciated. Slow service but once served the food is excellent.

Unbelievable that the station café still exists with service that really leaves something to be desired in addition to prohibitive prices, 2 café lattes with a grilled cheese and a croissant. $39.00. I advise against it for the entire population of Rosemere.

It was my second time at Café de la Gare and unfortunately my last. I had the gravlax as a starter which was not fresh and the eggplant salad which was ok.

I stopped at this charming place to have a matcha latte. Very kind staff and delicious matcha of very good quality 👌🏼
The only point is that I would put hot and iced matcha latte recipe suggestions on the menu 😊

The food was super good and the decor warm. On the other hand, employees should be told to keep their gossip out of the cafe or at least not to shout it throughout the restaurant. Frankly unpleasant and unprofessional, especially when they make derogatory comments about their colleagues….
