Restaurant Hao Van

Table had ants running around. Soup was cold. The buffet was a joke. Cold and very little. Seemed they would bring out 1 spoon at a time of food. The waitresses seem to never had worked in a restaurant before. We went there because of high rates but was very disappointed ☹️☹️☹️☹️ 97$ for 2 terrible buffet and 2 drinks! I left zero tip!

Very disappointed for the first time. The egg rolls were oily on the outside and didn't taste the same. Chinese noodles have also completely changed their taste and have been mixed with other forms of noodles. I ordered every Christmas for my dinner but I don't think so this year.

We ordered menu no. 1 for 4 people, and frankly, we are all very disappointed! I asked to replace the chicken chow mein with the Cantonese one. When we arrived home, we found that our request had not been respected at all! We even tried to call, but were told it wasn't noted anywhere, and I just didn't mention it. I was told that if I really wanted to get the order right, I would have to go back and pay the price. In addition, our chicken wings had little hairs embedded in the breading... And what about the portions? You don't have to be hungry to eat there, in any case!

$32 per person for the buffet is too expensive! Half of the stoves didn't work. The person at the reception didn't even speak French... The cherry sauce was grainy.... not much choice of food in the buffet. There is no air conditioning in the restaurant, the waiter told us that the new owners don't want to pay to have it repaired. It was the last time for me there ?

I was visiting the city for a day and I really liked this restaurant, all-you-can-eat buffet (cheap!), very delicious, the staff is also very welcoming. I recommend!

The hours displayed on the internet are not good
We arrived at 7:20 p.m. to be told that they no longer make food, that they only have the buffet. The hours on the front door are good as it closes at 8 p.m.
Finished for us.

He should update their schedule. Very disappointing to show up there and find a restaurant closed even though Google says open (Monday July 15, 4:30 p.m.)

I'm not the type to throw flowers in the air but this restaurant is definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the entire province of Quebec and even part of Ontario, having tried several. The rice is always cooked to perfection, the soo guy chicken is a pure delight, the shrimp, regardless of the recipe, are the best on the market, the vegetables are firm and tasty, unfortunately the frog legs are no longer available but they were a real treat. Since this restaurant opened, I have never been disappointed. I will never be afraid to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Enjoy your food!

This is the only Chinese buffet restaurant in the city of Rouyn. The size of the restaurant is a little limited compared to those I have frequented in other cities such as Quebec or Montreal but can nevertheless accommodate around twenty people and the menu is quite varied all the same.
