I went there twice. The first time was on a snowmobile with a friend who is a regular at this establishment. It was good. The pea soup was delicious. I had the daily menu.The second time I decided to take my family who were visiting from out of the area. It was awful. I asked what the soup of the day was. The waitress told me there was no soup and there never had been. I informed him that I had eaten soup at this place before. She rolled her eyes and went to find the owner. Finally, yes there was soup, the waitress was new. Okay. It happens. So I asked if I could have the soup with the daily menu. The owner stupidly informed me that the daily menu did not exist. I replied that, two months ago, it existed, and that it was still on the menu. She told me it wasn't available for me but just for workers. At this point we should have left but my guests were hungry so we ordered. The food was significantly inferior to the time before. The service was atrocious and we were made clear we were not welcome.This is my experience. If you have to go, make sure you go by snowmobile because otherwise you will be poorly received.
