At the end the waiter was frustrated by a mistake I made when I was completing the transaction. It was an honest mistake (typo) but his attitude was extremely bad. And in front of everyone. He is lucky my 85 years old was there so I keep it quiet. This waiter should know better

Don't come here. This Saint-Bruno location packs in tables to maximize seats and it ruins the experience. You're wedged inches from other parties, aisles are too tight for servers to pass without bumping you, and half the room sits in drafty traffic zones by the door or washrooms. Chairs are uncomfortable and wobbly, there's nowhere for coats or bags, and the noise is cafeteria-level. It's stressful, not enjoyable. Service can't keep up with the overcrowding. Water, cutlery, and basic check-ins lag because staff are stretched thin. Plates land at odd intervals, food cools fast in the drafts, and you end up shouting to be heard. Accessibility is an afterthought with blocked paths and tight turns for strollers or mobility aids. Biggest frustration: they advertised they would show the Blue Jays World Series games exclusively, and they didn't. No game on the TVs we could see, no clear plan to switch them over, and no explanation beyond shrugs. If you promote a viewing experience, deliver it. That bait-and-switch was the last straw. This isn't a one-off. Other reviews point to the same pattern here: overbooked floor, chaotic atmosphere, long waits even with reservations, and a layout that puts turnover ahead of comfort. If management wants repeat customers, they need to remove tables, widen aisles, fix pinch points near the entrance and bathrooms, add sound-dampening, and stop overbooking peak hours. Until then, there are plenty of nearby spots that won't make you pay to eat in a hallway while the game you came for isn't even on.

Nous avons réservé le bar et avons plutôt eu une table salle a manger. Un peu décevant ! L'attente est longue et exposé au froid de la porte d'entrée qui est constamment ouverte ! Il faudrait améliorer ce point

Don’t come here. This location clearly prioritizes cramming in as many seats as possible over basic comfort or a good customer experience. Tables are jammed so close together you end up shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers, dodging servers and elbows the whole time. It’s noisy, cramped, and stressful — the opposite of a relaxing meal. Layout makes no sense: tiny two-tops shoved beside high-traffic zones, larger parties squeezed into corners with zero space to move, and some tables practically touching the entrance or washroom hallway. You feel rushed before you even sit down. Chairs are hard and wobbly, there’s no room for bags or coats, and you’re constantly getting bumped because there’s barely an aisle. If you value personal space, forget it. Service suffers because of the overcrowding. Staff are hustling but clearly stretched thin, so basics lag — water refills, cutlery, checking in after food arrives. Food comes out at odd intervals and cools fast in the drafty spots. The noise level is cafeteria-grade; you end up shouting across the table. Accessibility is an afterthought: tight turns, blocked paths, and nowhere to park a stroller or mobility aid without being in someone’s way. This isn’t just my night, either. A lot of other reviews for the Saint-Bruno location say the same things: overbooked, packed in, chaotic atmosphere, long waits even with a reservation, and staff forced to manage a floor plan that puts turnover ahead of comfort. The pattern is pretty clear — maximize seats, minimize experience. If management wants repeat customers, they need to pull tables, widen aisles, fix traffic pinch points near the door and washrooms, add soft surfaces to tame the reverb, and stop overbooking peak hours. Until then, there are plenty of places nearby that won’t make you pay to feel like you’re eating in a hallway.

We had a great meal everything was cooked to our liking. We also had an exceptional waitress Kinsa. She was very attentive, and went beyond to make our meal and stay at The Keg very enjoyable..

Second time at this location and I have found both times I have been there, my steak was not cooked as to preference. First time I was at this location I asked for Medium and it was rare. This time again I asked for medium and received medium well. I don't like to complain but maybe I should have.

Excellente qualité de nourriture et service impeccable, ce qui est rare de nos jours. Steak un peu trop salé, mais excellent

After a long and trying day, we headed to our go-to steakhouse on the South Shore: The Keg in Saint-Bruno. Since it was a Tuesday evening, we didn’t have a reservation, but they were able to seat us right away. On busier nights we usually book ahead just to be safe.

We were greeted warmly and led to a cosy corner table near the back. It was perfect for a quiet dinner. Service was courteous and attentive, just as we’ve come to expect.

We ordered from the Classic Keg menu: Bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon with vegetables, sautéed mushrooms, and a baked potato with all the trimmings. The filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender, one of the best I’ve had in a while. It also comes with a salad; we chose the Caesar, and mine was carefully prepared gluten free (without croutons or panko). I really appreciate how seriously they take GF dining — a staff member even came by to explain the steps taken to ensure my meal was safe.

To pair, my wife enjoyed a crisp Chablis served in a carafe, while I had a robust Grand Coronas red that complemented the steak perfectly. We skipped dessert this time, though the menu was very tempting.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to bring back the chimichurri sauce. It was gluten free and such a fantastic accompaniment to steak.

Overall, another consistently excellent experience at The Keg: great food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere that keeps us coming back.

Excellent service!
Veronique was our waitress and showed great attention to detail. She explained the menu clearly and checked in with us several times to make sure everything was going well. My wife has a food allergy, and Michael, the manager, went above and beyond — going back and forth between the kitchen and our table to ensure each dish was safe for her. He was incredibly patient and took the time to explain which sauces were safe, and why. Their professionalism and care truly made our dining experience enjoyable.
Thank you, Veronique and Michael!
