My wife and I stopped at Chez Alain for lunch after leaving Montreal and heading back to the United States. After walking in, we were seated by the waitress who was very pleasant but we don’t speak French and she didn’t speak English so communication was a little difficult. After navigating through the menu, which was in French, the owner, Chez Alain came over and assisted as he spoke English. We both settled on cheeseburgers and poutine. Both were delicious! The staff was very pleasant and personable and the restaurant was very clean. The menu has a wide array of food which should satisfy anyone’s particular taste! We are glad we stopped! If we are ever up in the area again, we will definite stop in again!

Lovely restaurant with amazing service and great food! My friends and I were visiting from NYC and wanted to get some early breakfast. We were lucky to have found this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had both an indoor and outdoor space which was cool. I also really enjoyed their crepe, I just might come back to eat that again!

My friends and I stumbled into this cute restaurant for a late breakfast on our way back to Montreal from the States. Food was excellent, staff was amazing, and they were decked out in the Halloween spirit! Happy we stumbled upon this place.
Delicious, fast and courteous service, perfectly cooked poached eggs and steak and eggs. The owner is friendly too! So popular on Sunday that we decided to go there on Monday!

Worst service. We waited 1h30 and left without eating. Several customers who arrived after us had time to eat and leave. And the waitress did not admit her mistake(s). She told us that it was our fault, because we had not finalized our choices at the beginning and that this had caused a delay. We're talking about an hour's delay before she comes back to take our order. Just sad.
