“I've placed several large orders from this place through SkipTheDishes and DoorDash, the latest had a mild request for a Google Review on the receipt, honestly this place is SO virtual I didn't think it was a possibility, LOL! And in actual fact Google wouldn't show it on the map until I searched it. I've loved this place so much I'll gladly do so!

It seems Depanneur Virtuel is affiliated and connected with two other businesses at this location, the restaurant Le Cordon and the candy store Bon Bon Si Bon. Honestly I don't see much separation with the last, the yummy candies and drinks available at Bon Bon Si Bon seem all available at the dep too, :) I think in the past a difference DID turn up, they simply supplied items from the other store anyway. They seem very flexible and accommodating.

Three aspects I absolutely ADORE: I mark ALL orders, all ITEMS on all orders, to contact me in case of substitution, nearly nobody does, they do! Every time it has come up they call, and we arrange a substitution I'm completely satisfied with. (I don't get people being fine with the establishment making whatever substitutions they like AND this is the default setting). Secondly, that they're all open until 2am (this delivery actually ended up at my door after 2am, I'm a night owl). This seems like the only depanneur I can order from after about 11pm. And thirdly, the wonderfully varied selection. There are SO many items I never see anywhere else! Including several familiar sodas in interesting tasty flavours (e.g. Strawberries And Cream Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke). I find the Usual Suspects - what I call Coke/Pepsi, 7Up/Sprite, sometimes Ginger Ale, drinks that literally every place carries - to be super boring to pick, they're comparatively bland and WAY too available, so I like flavourful options.

In particular I note that as a Dutch guy, a favourite soda in Holland is Blackcurrant - called Cassis in Dutch and french. Growing up we could only get it from the Dutch store, nobody local carries it (except the short time President's Choice did a passable version, then seemed to discontinue it over being too popular and always selling out), but there IS no more Dutch stores in Montreal. Fanta has their rendition of it, but I never see it anywhere. Except Depanneur Virtuel and one or two other similar specialty stores. It may not be genuine Hero brand from Holland, but close enough for me!

Many items here appear to be imported. It is this likely-many-imported aspect which make some of the prices forgivable, I know when importing products that can make them pricey, meaning the customers have to pay more to make carrying those items profitable.

Only problem is when DoorDash offers to DoubleDash this place (like tonight), the former 10 minute window, now 15, is a VERY short time to browse their rather extensive inventory. Go Speed Browsing Mode! :)“
