Restaurant Ohana

Truly an unforgettable experience here in a small town St-Donat. I had the duck salad to start and then the wild mushroom risotto. Wow. I indulged and finished the evening with baklava dessert. Thank you to the chef and thank you for this new place we desperately needed here!

L’Odyssée: A Welcome Culinary Addition to St-Donat.

St-Donat finally has the restaurant it’s been waiting for. L’Odyssée opened its doors recently, and after our first visit, it’s clear this establishment will become a local favorite.

We started our evening with the crème de poireau (leek soup), which set a promising tone for the meal. For our mains, we explored their seafood offerings: the salmon tartare was fresh and expertly prepared, while the grilled salmon was cooked to perfection, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to quality and technique.
What makes L’Odyssée particularly exciting is their regularly rotating menu. This commitment to seasonal variety means each visit will offer something new to discover, giving diners a reason to return time and again. The wine list deserves special mention as well—it’s impressively curated, offering selections that complement the elevated cuisine.

The restaurant fills a genuine need in St-Donat’s dining scene, bringing a level of culinary sophistication the area has been missing. Based on our experience, we’re already planning our next visit.

A great culinary experience!

The food was very fresh and delicious.
The black Cod was truly amazing!
The mushroom appetizer and the burrata appetizer were very fresh and tasteful.
The crème brûlée was absolutely perfect!

There is a great attention to details in the preparation and presentation of every plate .
Staff and owner are very nice.

New ownership, now called ODYSSEE. Excellent. St-Donat needed a place like this. Great fresh local selection of food and super wine selection you cannot find at the SAQ.

I love this little restaurant in the village of St-Donat. I'm in the area for work and I don't miss going there. The service is excellent, the little fried smelts are delicious and the burger OH ana!!!! A delight! The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food….
I highly recommend if you like to eat well😉

I love Ohana, the food is great, the service and the atmosphere is great. This lunchtime, I ate an Ohana burger, it's decadent, everything is fresh and it's plentiful. What can we say about the fish and chips, they are extraordinary. Everything is homemade here. Don’t hesitate to stop by and see for yourself. All dishes are made with love of cooking.

Very nice restaurant and excellent dishes! We had the Octopus Risotto and the Salmon Tartare, a nice wine list also accompanies the menu. The terrace is bucolic, a very beautiful setting for a romantic meal.
Remember to book! (Online booking via Google works very well)
