The food was good overall, but the experience had a few downsides. There were long waits between courses, and the ambiance felt a bit off-we were crammed into the smaller dining room sitting very close to other patrons while the radio played (??), which took away from the atmosphere. A big negative-the gift card we bought from Costco included a menu so we had already decided what we wanted. When we ordered, the waitress told us the menu had changed and those items were no longer...
When reserving we asked for a quiet table which they delivered on. We’ve been coming here off and on for the last 25 years. The restaurant never fails to deliver a pleasant dining experience. Another pleasant surprise is that they have maintained and updated the decor over the years. If you’re looking for fine french cuisine in a nice comfortable, not overly noisy (low ceiling) environment, at a reasonable price, L’impressionist delivers.
