I'm still trying to understand how take out works. We often order take out for a time specified when ordering (order placed in the afternoon for dinner) and each time, I try to arrive about 5 minutes before the time requested on the order. Sometimes the box has been under the stove for a while, the top of the box is hot while the contents of the box below are at room temperature. And other times I wait up to 20 minutes.
We shared a nice meal with a couple of friends we hadn't seen for a long time. We told the waitress that we had some chatter to catch up on. She was very professional and told us to put all the menus on the edge of the table when we were ready to order, so she didn't have to spend her time bothering us while we were drinking our beer. Our dinners at Scores Saint-Georges are customary. The staff is usually excellent, and the cuisine is excellent with a good selection. But the last four trips have been incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, we were always seated next to the same waiter. This waitress is patronizing and impolite. When we ask her nicely for refills, she ignores us, yells back angrily, doesn't listen to our responses, and goes away. She also essentially throws our desserts in front of us.We...
