Truly authentic Romanian food that tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen back home. Yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but let’s be honest—quality’s never cheap, and this is worth every bite. The mici are among the best I’ve ever had, juicy, just the way they should be, and the charcuterie is second to none—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care
Super good meat and mici !!
Romania and easter european food. Very neatly presented. Loved it!
Great Romanian food, nice place to buy specialty items not found in Canadian supermarkets
Love their Easter European smoked sausages ecc
Great choices of European food and products!
The Romanian specialty "sarmale" (marinated cabbage rolls filled with a mixture of ground pork and beef and rice) boiled in a very good sos with smoked ham were very good. 12 CAD for 600 grams! Very good price for their quality and for the great work of preparation! The only thing missing is dining tables on site!
Beautiful store with a great selection 10/10
If you miss remembering why you emigrated, this is the ideal place to go, in the Rive-Sud area Expired products (Kefir Pinedge Farm) prices that are increased weekly (Magiunul de Topiloveni). Many products that have no price. Sausages sold "by the kilo", in fact I paid around $80 for 20 sausages + lots of juice + some leftover cabbage. The schedule is also not respected, on Google Maps it says that it is open, but the store is closed. Not to mention the attitude of some employees/saleswomen (example of discussion: "I'm not refunding this girl's money, how would I know that the product was expired/damaged if she doesn't bring it to me to see") .
Lovely staff, especially the Russian speaking ladies (Alena, Sasha and Sofiia)!!! Very welcoming and kind!
Restaurantji Recommends
This is the place if you like East European meats and cuts and not only.
The products here are almost like in Russian stores. Cheese, sausage marinades. But also all sorts of preserves, marmalade, cakes, cookies...
There is antibacterial soap, shampoo...
The store is clean and the staff is also friendly.
Parking is really not that great. Although there is room for several cars in the back.
Staff are polite and the food is fresh .I go once a week
Good food, ok products, rather high prices
Really interesting charcuterie with “homemade” smoked products. Retail grocery store for several Polish products. I adore!
