Pizzeria Grande Allée

I ordered 5 pizzas from this restaurant (first pizza place we try in the south shore as we just moved), and wasn’t wowed, however maybe we got them on a busy night. The pizzas came back overcooked and found the sauce really salty. Was hoping to get that cheese pull others have mentioned. The owner apologized and has corrected the situation and I appreciate the time he took to do that, so for that reason I’ll give 4 stars for service. 3 stars for food. Will need to try it again and hopefully will be a favourite go-to pizza joint in the south shore. For their all dressed pizza with Italian sausage, I’m not sure if we just didn’t get it or we did (and it’s just their style?) however I’m used to getting sausage crumbles on the all dressed with Italian sausage from other places, not slices of thicker pepperoni (?). Not sure if this was a mistake or meant to be like this.. maybe I’m being a pizza snob however would have been way better if it had sausage crumbles for sure!!

My original review for Pizzeria Grande Allee was not good as the previous owners were quite rude and the food was terrible and very expensive.

However, I have ordered from there a few times since the new owners took over and I have to say that the difference is remarkable! The staff is very polite and their Pizzas are now the BEST you can get on the South Shore! The dough is soft and fluffy and they are quite generous with the toppings - lots of cheese and lots of pepperoni! On top of that, their prices are very reasonable!

My only request to the new owners - please do not get cheap with the ingredients and the toppings, like the previous owners did. I suspect this is why they are now the 'previous' owners :)

I was disappointed by their Poutine Pizza. For some reason, I thought it would be something completely new and fun to try but it ended up being a pizza with a side of poutine. I really don't know what I was expecting. The pizza itself was nice. I enjoyed the large amount of toppings and the thicker slices. The poutine on the other hand was a bit too soggy for me so it wasn't my favourite. Delivery is a factor for this so I would love to try their poutine in person one day. Although the spaghetti was a bit overcooked in my opinion, I really enjoyed the flavours of the sauce. There was a nice and balanced level of sweetness in their sauce which made the spaghetti so much more enjoyable. In terms of price, I feel like it's a bit more expensive than some other places that offer similar items and the portions are reasonable as well.

Was there for mother's Day. The place was jammed packed . Didn't know we could make a reservation but the staff was very nice and we were seated as soon as a place became available. Food was simple yet very tasty.

Great place had my sisters birthday here. Staff are very nice, great service. The environment and the cleanliness of the place is great nothing to complain about love coming to eat here and will be recommending to family and friends!

***update March 23, 2025. My daughter wanted to do her 18th birthday here. Amanda which I think her name was made this celebration a memorable one. The dîner service for my 23 guests was good. They reserved a section for me which made us feel special. Thank you to the staff of this restaurant. ***

Driven by this place many times but never stopped in. Today my daughter wanted pizza so searched for pizza in maps and saw this place. Pizza was good and the French fries were ok. I saw they have a breakfast special and will definitely have to try that. Our waitress a young lady provided very good service. Place became busier as we neared the end of our dinner. Definitely will come back to try other items and definitely will try their breakfast. Ample parking so not a worry about that.

Ordered a pizza and fries at 6 p.m., the pizza arrived at 7:30 p.m., completely cold and the fries too! I called the restaurant at 7 p.m. and they told me that my order has already left, I'm about 10 minutes from the restaurant! I call the restaurant to tell them that my pizza is cold and they tell me that the delivery guy has a lot of deliveries, I can understand but 1h30 for a pizza that arrives cold, seriously? I would give 0 stars if it were possible!

The pizza is super good. Very nice waitresses, great service. The lunches are very good with a nice plate too. I highly recommend it.

Just had their pizza, ordered their special grandealle and a peperoni, best pizza we've ever had! And the price is amazing! Much better priced then other restaurants!
