We booked at this restaurant for a group of 26 people. Once there, we were informed that a new rule applies to groups of 15 and more when selecting a steak. Instead of 3 accompaniments to choose from, these are selected by the cooks. We took our chance

Result: Carrots, broccoli and mushrooms

We would have liked to have been informed before being there, we could have selected another place for our meal.

As for the service, I had to settle for my one and only glass of water served when I arrived at the table. No visits for any filling.

Definitely my one and only visit to this place, strongly not recommended.

I would like to give 0 with you, I arrived at the restaurant last Saturday, the waitress asked me to back away like a dog without saying anything in explanation, then she called a group of Quebecers because I was there before, I arrived before. When I asked the question why she was acting like that she told me these people had booked, I said you don't have to explain to me before pushing me away like that ma'am, she told me she didn't has no explanation to give me.
This is the story that was happening at the baboche restaurant in Saint-Hyacinthe because they say they are not racist.

We are not picky eaters. At all.
We would really eat anything - but this weekday BREAKFAST BUFFET was terrible.
The coffee was basically brown water. My mom put 3 creamers into it and some sugar and still left it. I asked her if we should just walk out.
We would have if my 12yo son hadn’t been with us, as he was very hungry. Even so, he declined the seemingly raw bacon (totally pink) and the very very very watery eggs… they were not even yellow!, and as I scooped some onto my plate, you could see the water pooled at the bottom of the carafe server.
The French toast was likely made the day before, if not two days prior… I watched as my mom went to attempt to cut into the French toast with a butter knife and the butter knife would not even cut into it – that is how hard the French toast was. It could have been a hockey puck.
I have never declined breakfast. I never knew that a meal could be ruined so catastrophically. This food was inedible and to make matters worse it was at a premium cost. $20 a person!!!! This was so terrible of EVERY single part of the buffet that it honestly wasn’t even worth $5 a person. Had we had the capacity to be more frank and truthful, we should have said something, but it seemed that our waiter did not speak English. We were the only ones in the restaurant, as was the waiter – no other team members or patrons were ever evident.

For such a nice place – nice atmosphere, seemingly would be busy at lunch or dinner – they have no clue or desire to make breakfast a priority. We should have walked out. We should not have paid. In retrospect, I don’t think I would have been convinced to have been PAID to eat there… that is how terrible the food was. I never had known that food could be ruined so badly. *****AVOID weekday breakfast buffet at all costs.*****

A practical place because it is open 24 hours with friendly staff and a very interesting menu. The prices are reasonable for very good value for money.

Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian dishes that are very good.

Superb beautiful restaurant, exceptional decoration and impeccable cleanliness, cozy atmosphere and unparalleled service. Efficient and attentive staff, wow!!! Bravo and thanks to Alec and his team. Delicious and affordable all-you-can-eat brunch. Great experience.
