Good place
2 out of 4 people had the soup and a snail starter.
The starters are served at the same time as the soups. The 2 people ate their starters cold.
2 out of 4 people chose the filet mignon.
Ordered 1 rare and medium. Both arrived well cooked.
When I say well cooked, not even a hint of redness.
Dry meat with pieces of overcooked bacon…
The chef should redo his classes, it just doesn't make sense not to know how to cook a piece of meat well done!
The guy who receives customers at the entrance asks us if we would like pepper with the soups, because we were sitting next to the entrance, everyone said yes please.
Never seen the pepper shaker…
If you want to eat potatoes in exponential quantities, this is the right place!
September 28, vegetables cost nothing at this time of year, put them on the plate instead of potatoes!!
When you have 3 or 4 times more potatoes than meat...
Restaurant that thinks it's 5 stars but is 1 at the most 2.
First time for 4 new customers who wanted to try something new,
You'll never see us again, sorry.
100% disaster except the waitress who was very good!!
Thank you so much!
So not your fault, poor thing...
Not recommended especially because of the prices!!!
Prices, just no sense for what was served.
The decor and the chairs, you won't get a Wow!! I want this in our house!!
Very low end for the price which is so overpriced.
We expected so much better.
No one tried desserts, firstly because of the prices and too afraid to get fooled for desserts too.

Produit du terroirs , succulent, bon service aussi
Really disappointed with everything I was almost afraid of the chairs on the terrace and steak what can I say not edible I don't understand the 4 stars really mediocre I swear the steak even a dog won't eat it
Finished for me
We haven't been to this restaurant in 2 years. I don't know if they have changed ownership but it's not what it used to be. The prices are exorbitant. Ciabatta for $29, tartare for $34 and soup for $16. Very average quality too. It's over for me. At this price there are much better restaurants

A rather pleasant service with an explanation of the dishes by the waitress. The cuisine is good with a fairly varied and original choice of dishes. However, it is quite expensive, like all the restaurants on rue des Cascades.
The restaurant could do with a refresh in terms of decoration but the terrace is still nice.

Bonne bouffe et bon service. 👌🏻
Very expensive restaurant for the quality of the food (very very ordinary)… I went there twice in 2 years and I was not impressed… My steak, very thin, was super tough even though I asked for medium bleeding. For $40 I expected better. The first time I went there, it was mac and cheese with 2 small pieces of pork for around $30. It was good, but not worth the price. The service is good, but again, it depends on who you come across.

Not terrible but not fabulous either. A soup of the moment with asparagus at $17 is exaggerated... The dishes lack work. I think the best thing in this restaurant is the fries with small mayos, the squid starter was good but really too small. The cocktails are average too. They are due for a refresh in terms of decoration. The floor is turned black, needs to be sanded and refinished, the walls really need to be repainted, dirty ventilation grill not to mention that a good part of the dining room looks like the toilets with the doors open, really not awesome. We were not offered access to the terrace, water was not served upon our arrival, etc.

Our 3rd visit. The first more than 5 years ago. It was excellent. We did it again 2 years ago. Quite ordinary without leaving any marks. We decided to give it another chance... Really ordinary with the unpleasant feeling of having been had. It’s simple, one of the owners simply decided to become a cook, I’m afraid. There's no way this person studied cooking. Only the smoked salmon sandwiches were decent but at an exorbitant price for a sandwich ($26). A 2-ball burger in a cheap bun with rib sauce and 2 slices of Kraft orange cheese (very thin)! A mound of coleslaw and “fries” for $31! An unfortunate Bigmac is tastier. And what about my pudding. Anything. An improbable but above all impossible mixture. No agreement. Blood sausage with a sweet confit with pieces of bacon. Small slice of green apple “for the photo” but above all the whole thing placed on a puree and topped with crumbled feta cheese. I tried every possible mix to see if I could find anything interesting! Unfortunately no. So I stopped eating. In my opinion, the owners have not tasted what they serve otherwise they would manage to avoid having destructive comments like this. And the solution is quite simple, just know how to cook. For a restaurant it seems to me that it's quite basic, right?

Meals without harmony of flavor, poor quality products. Excessive price for the equivalent of a snack meal. Pompous and presumptuous dish names. 2nd experience (we gave the runner a chance) even more disappointing. To avoid!

I had the pleasure of dining at the L'Espiègle restaurant and it was an exceptional experience! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the smiling and attentive staff. The decoration is elegant and creates a cozy and friendly atmosphere.
The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each dish was an absolute delight, beautifully presented and full of flavor. My favorites were the salmon carpaccio starter and the fondant chocolate dessert – a treat for the taste buds!
The service was impeccable from start to finish, with attentive and very professional servers. The sommelier's wine recommendations were also excellent and accompanied our meal perfectly.
I highly recommend L'Espiègle to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. This is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in town!
