Restaurant ZIBO! Saint-Hyacinthe

I recently dined at ZIBO and, unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet expectations. The Thai beef salad was flavorful and enjoyable; however, the quality of the burger was disappointing. The patty was dry and lacked seasoning, and even the fries seemed underwhelming—I’d honestly prefer McDonald’s fries over these. To add to the experience, our server seemed indifferent and unapproachable, which made the atmosphere less welcoming. With both food quality and service falling short, I don’t see myself returning to this restaurant in the future.

Very good restaurant! It's a little expensive for the quantity, but the food is quality. For 2 starters, 2 main meals, a beer and 1 non-alcoholic mocktail it cost $150 without tip. I recommend when you want to treat yourself, because the taste is there!

Very pleasant welcome. Really disappointing, braised beef ravioli with mushroom sauce and blue cheese. No taste and no blue cheese. We had the impression of disturbing our server, welcome at the cold table, he has a lot of work, which may be an excuse for his way of doing things.

Very good food and excellent service. November 2024, I decrease from 5 stars put 5 years ago, to 4 stars because of the disco music. Very unpleasant, you have to shout to hear yourself speak. It seems to me that more relaxed music would be appropriate for early dinners.

I ordered take out from the hostess stand and service was not good. I arrived and was ignored by Employee 1 who checked the hostess screen then left. A couple walked in and employee 2 arrived and seated them. Employee 1 came back, checked the screen, ignored me again, and left. Employee 2 came back but before she could speak to me, the recently seated couple asked for a different table. Employee 1 arrived just then and instructed employee 2 where to reseat them. Employee 1 checked the hostess screen, ignored me again and left. Employee 3 arrives and asks if I’ve been served. I say no and she takes my order. I tell her I will wait in the hotel lobby. She says in that case I’ll take your phone number. I wait in the lobby, figuring I will get a call (silly me?) I go back in after 40 mins, my food is sitting on the counter (with my phone number clearly written on the receipt.) Employee 4 arrives and I say the take out order is mine. She tells me to wait and goes to get Employee 5, who does the payment. I get to my hotel room and the fries are cold and chewy.

We took the trouble to call the day before to find out if you needed to make reservations for lunch. When we arrived, a lady quickly came up to us at the entrance and said “we are full (in a very stupid way) and she immediately left! She could have apologized for the situation.

Brief ! Really a VERY bad welcome! Note that there was only a small part of the restaurant in use.

Un bel arrêt à St-Hyacinthe, à même l'hôtel et le centre de congrès. Le stationnement est facile et l'accueil agréable. Le service a été rapide et convivial et le resto est superbe côté décor. Les sangrias sont excellentes et les plats savoureux bien que les portions soient un peu limitées pour le prix. Nous y retournons sans doute !
