Cuisine Bombay Indienne

This was my first time ordering food from here.I ordered chicken tikka. It was so disappointing in terms of portion size and taste. The pieces of chicken tikka are super small and taste is not even close to what we get in Indian restaurants. It is like cheating the customer!
The onion pakora was fine. The tamarind chutney was different in taste than the regular chutneys we have at authentic Indian restaurants.
The vegetable curry was not good. It had big, chunky pieces of cabbage, carrots and no taste of coconut although the description mentioned it has coconut.
The prices are exorbitant especially when you look at the taste.
Montreal has excellent restaurants with good portion sizes and prices. To someone who has never been to Indian restaurants, this taste and portion size would seem normal but to someone who has grown up cooking and eating Indian food, has been to countless Indian restaurants in Ontario and Montréal, the difference is so obvious.

Great indian place, very cozy and great location. Food was very good. I haven't been here sonce the new owner and our last experience was not so great so we were pleasently delighted when our food arrived and tatsed sooooo much better than the last time. Portions are good too. The naan bread is something special.

Heads up, they do not serve alcohol nor can you bring any. Very traditional Indian place.

We had a wonderful dinner. Quaint little restaurant. Menu is thorough. Portions were just right. The service was also excellent, the dessert was incredible.

I went there for dinner its nothing close to what Indian food is . He even dont know how yo Make TADKA for the Indian curries leave the taste part .
The owner is the chef , waiter and everything . He is trying best but he is not even close to indian food please dont write indian food name and serve this bland tasteless food the only good thing i like was Naan rest is just worst

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The best bhaji and pakora! My friend and I loved everything about the meal, the lassi, the tea, the dessert. The best Indian restaurant I've been to in a long time! The service was fast, super friendly. Truly a place to return to :)

The dishes are very good!!! The owner is really very generous!!! We ate our meals and he offered us dessert and donuts as a starter.
