Owner attentive and professional :)
Worst service when you go to sell Pokémon cards. They don't take the time to look at your cards sometimes they give you bad prices they hurry for you to leave I had a bad experience there go
Best place to play board games and TCGs on the South Bank. Warm and during Commander nights, there are always friendly players to play with. The card stock is generally good and as a bonus, the nachos are excellent.
Great experience and support in our purchases.
very nice shop to have a good time! very friendly staff
I was just on the phone today about an issue about my order and the customer support was amazing. I didn't get her name but she was very polite understanding and helpful. Even though I am in Vancouver I will continue to buy from Tome2 for my MTG purchases in the future!
It was okay, but clearly they didn't want to help us with the products. We were looking for two or three cards in particular and the man at the back was unpleasant and gave us short and dry answers. We wanted to get a Magic Deck but ultimately we bought elsewhere. For a local company, the service is tough and that doesn't encourage me to come back.Update: I gave this company a second chance 9 months later and nothing has changed. Very unpleasant customer service at the back, we are served with a stupid look and a man who sighs every 2 seconds. If you don't feel like being there, stay home. Having visited many similar stores, this one is by far the worst.
The atmosphere and the store itself are superb. I love the aesthetic, the variety of products and the bistro. However, I'm a Pokemon player and I feel like they have no idea what they're doing with their Pokemon scene. For starters, their Pokemon singles prices don't reflect market prices 95% of the time. You can find the same cards at lower prices in several branches on the South Shore/Montreal. The same can be said of sealed products, always more expensive than the market price and the prices of competitors in the region. We even bothered to check TCGplayer, Troll&Toad and Collectr with an employee for the price of a card which they were selling for over 40% more than anywhere else. They call the manager to inform us that the price is firm... Rather disappointing. In addition, they have a license to organize Pokemon events but do not organize League Challenges or League Cups, only some standard weekly and prereleases. Finally, every store I've been to gives Play! Prize Packs during these events as door prizes/competitions are a standard. Tome 2 has never given one when I've been to one of their events, and that's a big reason why people like to pay to go play. All this to say that I love the store, the staff, the atmosphere etc. but the Pokemon scene seems poorly managed and leaves something to be desired, it's not for nothing that there aren't many players at the weekly and that several people go to play in other branches. If that changes, I'll be happy to change my Google review, as that's the only thing I don't like about this establishment.
I loved the experience, especially when Dookie showed up to unleash the sauce everywhere in volume 2!! In short, great evening! XD
Always well received for Magic the Gathering competitive events, I highly recommend. The service at the cafe counter was excellent too

I went here today with sister and her family. It was a really neat concept for a cafe. And the selection of board games for purchase is top notch!
Our experience at Tome2 was brief but pleasant, we came across the place by chance at the end of the day.The employee who was present was very friendly despite our late arrival and had time to make me a cute teddy bear on my hot chocolate.Although some games were a little smelly (beer, vomit, old age?) there was an interesting selection to try.All in all, a nice impromptu experience!
Always a warm and pleasant welcome
Beautiful boutique in downtown St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Very large selection of fun products. Table games, card games (TCG), miniature paintings and so on. Coffee and pastries on sale to enjoy on site or to take away. Tables for playing. There are several demo games. Several organized events, weekly or one-off. The items are priced competitively. The staff is courteous and very helpful.
Good service and lots of choice for games
