Disappointing! It's not like it used to be, at least when it comes to portions. It had been a long time since we had been there. We had poutines, which we preferred at Charley's because, among other things, of the abundance of cheese curds they put. The formats have changed. We chose the “double poutine” format, the one just before the family format. What we got was actually the equivalent of a regular-sized poutine elsewhere. Not so much cheese! For the other dishes, I can't comment, but for the poutine, pass! The staff is new and young. Probably new owners who are sitting on their laurels and the reputation of the old Charley by now prioritizing big profits rather than customer satisfaction and loyalty. It may be a while, but word of mouth can be the best or worst publicity... and it goes quickly. Damage. It was our last visit. R.I.P. our old Charley.
