We arrived there, my boyfriend and me as a date, we were told we needed to wait a good 30-45 min but then we were seated immediately
We were also warned the tablets was lagging a bit, we didn’t got much problems in our side about that

Food came quickly, everything was excellent, everyone was very nice with us
First time trying sushi as a picky eater and I will totally go again!

The place was extremely dirty, very noisy but worst of all was the price. They didn't offer a senior price for my 77 year old mother who only snacked on some items. The bill with a 15% tip (less than I usually tip) was $175, no beverages. Definitely not worth the money. The food is mediocre. Tempura didn't taste fresh and the sushi is tiny and falls apart. Everything else we ordered came fast, tasted good but was cold. Feeling ripped off!

It's a shame because we are regular customers of Sushi Oshi and have never had a problem until today. The waitress doesn't know the word "you're welcome" apparently, I had to return a plate of sashimi since the center of it was frozen and the waitress showed no understanding of it other than "well order in d 'others', we were never warned in advance that the kitchen closed at 9 a.m. or that the dining room closed at 9:30. On this subject, we had our table completely cleared, including utensils, when we had not even finished eating. The waitress, seeing that I hadn't finished and that I was rushing to finish my plate, reassured me that I could take my time until the manager informed us, as if it were obvious, that the room dining room was closed. I count us lucky because when he went to see the other table that was left, he simply shoved his phone in their faces to show that they had no flexibility in terms of closing. I have never been in such a hurry to get out of a restaurant in my life, in my book it is extremely poor taste. I understand that the restaurant has to close but there is at least one way to say it… Anyway, to summarize our evening, frozen sashimi, little tact, literally kicked out of the restaurant and in general we felt as if we were disturbing them when you literally pay to be able to have a good evening. We will not return of course.

I order from this restaurant very often and everything and I mean everything is excellent. Yesterday I ordered a Katsu pouké bowl for the first time and I fell in love. This evening I'm going back to look for it to be tried by my partner.

Nous sommes allés le 30 décembre à 11h30, on dirait qu'ils nous ont passé des aliments de la veille, ça ne semblait pas tous frais et nous avons eu une intoxication alimentaire tous les 2.

We went at 1 pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was at less than half capacity. Restaurant was well staffed. We placed our first order and received half of it almost right away and the other half only 30 minutes later after reminding the staff twice that half of it was missing. I placed a second order and 30 minutes later no food had arrived.

With a 30 minute “break” in between both orders our appetite was gone. We simply cancelled the order, paid and left.

Workers said there is an issue with their system due to the implementation of the new tax rebate. Whatever the reason, the service was sub par and I wouldn’t be able to comment on the food as we pretty much just received our sides and drinks.

Side note: be prepared to smell like a bbq once you leave. Ventilation is not great.

Overall a pretty terrible experience.

it's Christmas and we celebrate it in the hospital with Sushi. i was surprised the presentation is so nice. the sushi is so good and fresh. we were so quiet and as soon as the sushi is in our mouth we start smiling and the party started. thank you sushi hoshi you made the sad night into happy and hopeful.

Group dinner, 14 people, two tablets, it's really not enough. We politely asked for a 3rd tablet, the waitress jumped the gun and was rude. It doesn't make any sense, when you're a waitress, you have to deal with all situations. Since tips are shared, the people at our table gave tips with others in mind. I don't, if the waitress is nice everyone benefits, if she's not nice everyone else shouldn't get it either. The crispy beef balls were downright tough. I took Quebec style sushi (4) 2 had a fishy taste, the utensils should be used for a single mixture. Not sure I'll go back
