On mange très bien mais svp enlevez votre sonnerie de canard à la caisse et à l'accueil c'est gossant!...

Very good on site but really not for takeout. The take-out pizza dough is so thin that the topping doesn't fit on it. There is almost no sauce and the poutine to go, the fries, are old dry fries and they are not good.

Parking: I don't understand why when you eat there it's very good but as soon as it's taken away, it's always mediocre.

I recently dined at Journel and can only recommend it! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for a family meal or a romantic dinner.

The service was impeccable: our server was attentive and knew the menu perfectly, advising us carefully. The dishes were simply delicious and prepared to perfection by Chef Alexis!!

The last 2 times I was there 1 year apart I was very disappointed.. Once the chicken skewer looked like it had to be frozen, reheat the vegetables on the skewer and the rice was very very soft, the chicken very dry.. And this evening I have the pork burger but no trace of their homemade mayonnaise in the burger and the onions were in no way caramelized as written in the menu it was simple cooked onion so the burger tasted nothing.. On the other hand service fast and courteous!

Every time my parents go up to see us in Quebec, they always arrive 1 hour later because "they just took a little detour to have lunch at Journel"...?

I conclude that it must be good if it’s worth the detour every time ?

Busy Sunday evening, good chicken parmigiana as a table d'hôte, with very good service from the girls at the bar.

We arrived at 8 p.m. and they closed at 9 p.m. Despite this, we were treated to impeccable service and hot, tasty dishes. This is not a place where ambiance is the focal point it was also clean and welcoming. We will return there for sure!

Stay there for a night and find good value for money! The room was ultra clean. We had a good meal there for dinner and lunch was perfect! In short, I recommend it, among other things, for the great service at the restaurant!
