An absolutely charming discovery! I didn't know what to expect having not been to eat in Saint-Lambert before. I strongly agree with this recommendation. Ultra nice izakaya style decor, you are transported once inside. The karaage for starters was freshly fried, satisfying, but more reminiscent of generic fried chicken than Japanese kaarage (the chicken should be marinated). The special rolls are all well balanced, very good. These are more fusion sushi rolls than the minimalist classics, so it's up to preference. I like both, and for the fusion rolls, I have to say that it's probably among the best I've eaten in the Montreal area without breaking the bank. Rolls Mango Tango, Saint-Lambert, Diamant are all easy to please. Rock N roll No 1 rolled with a cucumber leaf was very refreshing, but may not appeal to conventional people who prefer to have rice. I liked the varied order to taste different genres. I will go back when the opportunity arises! Long live this establishment!
