Honestly one of the best Italian food i had and you dont even need to go into the city and go through traffic.. food was great, our server Enrique was awesome. Steak cooked to perfection and their ravioli with foie gras.. just wow! Will be going back

I went to this restaurant today. It's normally my gfs favorite place. The service was shit today. It was on fire. The food was burnt. Very dissappinted. Usually over priced and small portions but incredible food.. however today is was burnt to the ground. We hope you get back on your feet soon..we can't wait to go back. Sorry for your loss.

Excellent service and food. Be aware of the bill, but it will reflect the food.
The windows aren't isolated though... so it was quite cold to the side.

We were really disappointed with our experience here. From the very beginning, we felt judged based on how we were dressed, which immediately made us uncomfortable. The older gentleman who greeted us made it clear at the entrance that we had to leave by 6 PM, and throughout our visit he was dismissive and rude. He was also our server, and the only time we were treated with respect was when it came time to pay.

The food itself was good, and there was a young staff member who was kind and polite — he was the only one who made us feel welcome.

We understand that the restaurant may not be fully handicap accessible, but that is no reason to treat guests differently. Everyone deserves respect and hospitality, regardless of appearance or circumstances. Unfortunately, the way we were treated left us with a very negative impression, despite the quality of the food.

The moment they saw the cash, their eyes widened and we were finally greeted with a smile something we should have experienced from the start.

3rd time here and definitely not our last! Primi Piatti has become our favorite Italian spot on the South Shore of Montreal, offering authentic flavors and generous portions. The pasta is always fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, you can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. The pizza was delicious, and the tiramisu, a creative twist on the classic with a layer of crunch was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

Primi Piatti is a standout destination for upscale Italian dining, beloved not only by locals but by anyone seeking a refined culinary experience. The food is exceptional—elevated Italian classics with creative flair, made from the freshest ingredients and plated with elegance. The wine list is equally impressive, carefully curated to complement the menu and satisfy discerning palates. With its stylish ambiance and attentive service, Primi Piatti delivers a consistently delicious evening that feels both indulgent and welcoming.

We had high expectations but were unpleasantly surprised. The area in the back with low ceilings and curtains felt rather casual, the food was average and service was amateurish. All this would be passable for a a South Shore or Laval restaurant if prices were more reasonable. Don't waste your money - you have much better choices in Montreal. Some examples: pasta dish had such thick cream sauce that everything was sticking together in an unholy mess, the waiter brought a bottle of red wine that he presented as something very special and from the North of Italy, it ended up being very basic and from the South (if you know Italian wines, you know..), cocktail was bland and looked disgusting with brown-green muddy colour.
