Impolite and arrogant people! I wanted to give them another chance but I see they didn’t change since last time. And bad quality but expensive food and drink. It’s popular as it’s the only coffee in the area!

How fortunate we are to have such a quality café in the area. I don’t say this lightly — this is the best coffee I, and you, will ever have! Better than anywhere in Montreal (and I love places like Olimpico and other Montreal classics), but Tompol is simply on another level.
My go-to is the cortado — perfectly balanced, smooth, and deeply satisfying. I’ve only just scratched the surface of their baked goods and food offerings, but everything I’ve tried so far has been exceptional. I look forward to discovering more each visit.
Their wine selection is equally impressive — all private imports, including gems like Provenche and Pigeon Hill. These bottles aren’t just rare finds; they represent the best of what Canada and Quebec have to offer in wine (take note, SAQ).
Cafés like this are what make a neighborhood special — thoughtful, passionate, and truly world-class

Stopped here for coffee. We found the Pumpkin Spice Latte too expensive. Iced Mocha was ok, got charged extra 50 or 75 cents as it was for take-out.
After ordering, there was a long wait to get our drinks. It looked like there was plenty of staff working at the time. The wait time allowed us to check the products they sell, nice selection of local products.
It’s not dog-friendly inside. It was too cold and wet to enjoy our coffee outside. They have their dog inside, cute puppy… no other dogs allowed.

Cafe, wine bar, restaurant, mini farmers market, coffee equipment and gourmet ingredients including coffee beans some of the best coffee roasters like Traffic, Pista and Escape, this place has it all while feeling like walking into someone’s house. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a wonderful staff and the owner (see below) Couteaux. The food and baked goods always fresh and prepared with care, and their coffee always hits the spot. They have a ton of space to sit inside and out. Highly recommend taking a small road trip down for brunch or to get a bit of work done.

Distinct, charming ans very warm local cafe in a converted cottage with beautiful centry old refurbished furniture. Its family owned and it shows. Excellent freddo capuccino and pastries. I wish I lived in the area.
sandwich was fine, nothing special, especially for $15. Wife loved the matcha

What a sweet cafe! Very friendly service. Unique and delicious food. I loved the smoresbrot (spelling not guaranteed, basically bread with a shmear), a Danish open sandwich with microgreens and flowers and tomato confit and whipped ricotta. Great music too, and we bought some microgreens with a few flowers to go.
