This place holds a special place in my heart. My parents grew up in Vietnam and we love to come here.

Lovely little homey Viet place!! The portions are huge with very generous amounts of meats and noodles. They have cháo lòng dồi and little bánh chưng on the weekends!

Ordered delivery and was shocked by how tasty and generous it was. I wish I could post a pic but I finished eating before I realized anything...

One of the best vietnamese restaurants in Montreal. Our server, Jenny, was such a delight. Will come back.

Everything was amazing I took the pad Thai ga and a wonton soup and everything was on point! Can’t wait to go again and I definitely recommend! Best Thai food I ever tasted!

First time there. We were welcomed by dirty doors and dirty, sticky tables. The lady (obviously the owner) looked so grumpy, she made us feel like she wanted to be anywhere but serving us. No smile, nothing, she almost threw the menus on the table.
The food was bland at best. The spring rolls had no taste whatsoever. The vermicelli, on my plate, were way overcooked. The mix of shrimp (only 5 little shrimps for 18$) and veggies had no taste at all.The crispy noodles with chicken were bland. What a disappointment!
From what I read, this place is known for their soups, but since it was so hot, today, we didn't feel like eating soup. So I can't comment on their pho, whether or not they're worth a detour.

Authentic pho, the best to my Vietnamese taste ( I used to like Pho Bang New York, but no more) and other Vietnamese dishes, portions are generous, a family business without pretention, they keep it simple and friendly. Good service and clean establishment, hope they stay the same for years to come.
For the last three visits, I noticed that the amount of meat in the Tonkin soup is reduced, and today they jack the price up to $16, I'm fine with the new price, everything has gone up, but cutting on the meat. I think it's time to find another restaurant!
This phở joint serves some Vietnamese specialties like rice noodle and grilled pork (Bún thịt nướng) and fried tofu with shrimp paste (Bún đậu mắm tôm), the fermented shrimp paste sauce was overly intense and was swapped out for a milder fish sauce. The food was delicious, though the service can sometimes come off as grouchy. The dessert Ché Ba Màu is a must.

Luck! Sometimes driving by a resto and craving pho in not a typical neighborhood for pho delivers a good dose of good luck...I took a chance and what great luck! Truly one of the best pho in Montréal. Real tender rare beef in a seriously homemade pho beef broth. The rare beef was so tender and just made this meal exquisite, a true delight! All of the accompanying bean sprouts, lime quarters and chilli pepper were fresh and vibrant including the uberfresh unblemished basil! This pho was benchmark. The goi coun fresh shrimp roll was not a big impressive one but a powerful small package of freshness and flavours where the underlying mint bursts through, showing that this is a roll that was made in the special way that many Montréal restos have forgotten to make properly. The service is personable and warm, family feeling and the glass of welcome cold tea is always appreciated on these hot days. Lots of easy free parking just off the métropolitain makes for an easy place to get to. Will be back to try other menu delicacies!
