La Piazzetta St-Nicolas

Since i moved to Halifax, 3 years aho, i have been searching for an authentic italian pizza. My husband heard about this restaurant & took us on our date night. The place was busy & we luckily got a spot on the bar, just infront of the clay oven. I saw the making of each of the orders. We were in awe.... simple, yet delicious, packed with flavors & just the finest thin crust pizza ypu can have. Felt like, i was in Italy. Tge dough is 72 hours fermented, finer & simple ingredients. Loved every bite. I hope the standard remains like this.
I see, a few people aren't happy, so a Disclaimer: this is NOT your USUAL oily, Cheap cheese Heavy, loaded with salt food.

We had lunch. Everything was perfect!... we loved the appetizer, an element that stands out from the others that make lunches. The pear butter ? Not to mention the local products, the taste and the presentation... We will definitely return.

Very good service! We had a waitress who was smiling and present for us. The B mol is food. I had the Carbonara pasta and it was very dry. The bacon tasted burnt. My friend had the wraps and she was surprised to see that for $30 a dish, they were just wraps...

I really enjoyed this brunch, the welcome, the quality of the food (bacon, braised ham) which makes me want to try the other products (cretons....), fruit on skewers, the quality of the service, the little touches (mimosa, small blueberry cake with apple sauce) quality crockery service.....all in a pleasant and unpretentious atmosphere.

Even if written when booking and reminded verbally when ordering, error on the gluten-free menu
Even though mentioned that it was my birthday, no special attention...despite 3 other customers receiving a cake with a candle and having "Happy Birthday" sung to them during the evening.
Once paid, the waitress did not come back to see us, or bring us water.
