I've been a customer for several years, I've tried around 40 to 50 of their sausage varieties to date and only once found one of their sausages to be okay but nothing more. All the others were excellent. If you're a rib fan, I guarantee you'll love the rib sausage. The mechoui meat sausage really tastes like meat cooked on the fire. I can't describe them all, it would take too long but their sausages are truly amazing.Now let's talk about the smokehouse.The smoked brie with smoked trout with thin slices of almonds and honey is a must. It really is a must. Seriously. It really is a must. No, I'm not kidding. It really is a must!For smoked fish. I live in Montreal near the Jean-Talon market. I have an excellent business near my house that sells excellent smoked fish. They have a greater variety of fish than the Fumoir but they are clearly a fishmonger before being a smoker. I'll go see them if I want something unusual like swordfish or smoked halibut.But if I want a classic like salmon or smoked trout, the Jean-Talon market may be right next door, of course I'm going to the Fumoir. It's just incomparable.They also have ready meals, vacuum-packed AAA steaks and even the occasional arrival of Wagyu.Edit: Just realized I didn't mention their bacon. It's nothing like any other bacon I've eaten before. Less salty. More smoky. Truly a unique flavor. Protip: If you want to make the neighbors jealous, have lunch on the BBQ in a cast iron skillet. The smell is absolutely amazing!”
