Nice relaxing place to pick up some amazing poutine.

First of all, really like that the gravy was vegetarian.

We also got the bonbon aux patates which I thought was gonna be a warmer sweet treat but it was a cold ready made one. It just tasted like fudge.

As for the poutine itself, I think it was kind of lacking flavour and we needed to put salt on it. The curds were way too big and could have been smaller and more gravy should be put on top of the curds rather than at the bottom.

I think the quality of the ingredients were top notch but the flavour could be enhanced a little bit.

Also the normal fries should be more crispy rather than soft and those also came without any salt.

This food shack is really great. I really enjoyed their Poutine. If your traveling to ‘the island’ then I highly recommend you make time for this place.

This small poutine shop on an island near Quebec City is a true hidden gem. The space is cozy, simple, and full of heart — just like the food. Their classic poutine is spot-on: crispy fries, fresh squeaky curds, and rich gravy that tastes like tradition.

If you’re looking for authentic Quebec poutine in a quiet, charming setting, this place is worth the trip.

Very disappointed yesterday, took poutine with sauce on the side, the cheese really wasn't fresh, I won't go back there again.

Poutine is ok, but the opening hours aren't. They seem to just open and close as they like.

I strongly advise against this place.
With my family, we went to the Friterie de l’île to share lunch. We ordered a burger each and fries to share. The burger was good and probably healthy. This is not the case with fries. We only ate a few, since it was to share, it was enough to have a stomach ache all afternoon. I would like to point out that everyone without exception had a stomach ache. I think the frying oil is changed too rarely.

Other than that, the service is pleasant.

Alert: GENEROUS PORTIONS!
Wowow!! It was super good and it was generous in sip! When we saw our orders arrive, we were wide-eyed: the poutine lids wouldn't close, the bags were overflowing with fries, none of the 6 of us finished our meals. Good value for money.
Conclusion: if you see the average portion, and you tell yourself that you usually eat that, BE CAREFUL! So take the small portion, be sure to have dessert later in case I lied! ?

Excellent spot for poutine! Very reasonable price! My opinion, the bbq sauce is too sweet ? because it was excellent

A good classic since my childhood, poutine I would give it a 7.5/10. Generous on the cheese and sauce, the fries are a little soft, but it's OK.
