Lovely bakery, fresh products, warm and friendly service.
Commercial bread only
If you’ve ever been to a wedding and wondered where they got their bread from the gloriously pluffy egg salad sandwiches or the scintillating cucumber bites, it was probably from Au Vieux Four. And much like a wedding this story has a sweetness to it as well with daily donuts, particularly the “twist” which may or may not be the reason donuts should be illegal. They are that good. The people who work here are so nice it’s a pleasure chatting and I encourage you to walk in and do a high scissor kick to show your appreciation. David Lee Roth and I once spent an hour trying to decide on the square loaf, the round loaf, or the dinner rolls. We ended up getting all three and we still talk about that night today.

We stopped for a quick bite to eat. We tried their chocolate/orange and chocolate/mocha muffins as well as their butt bread. DELICIOUS !!!!!!
