Restaurant Chez Milot

Fish was not fresh, french oinion soup had a double layer of bread + mozarella and tasted like a fridge, I am NEVER going back.

We arrived for our reservation at Chez Milot and unfortunately had one of the worst service experiences I can remember. When we walked in, no one greeted us, staff kept moving around to other tables, but no one even looked our way or said someone would be with us. It felt like we didn’t exist. I even started walking upstairs thinking maybe that’s where you wait, and only then did someone finally ask if we’d been helped.

They eventually took our name, asked if we wanted inside or outside, and sat us with menus. We ordered a drink, which came after a little while, but then things completely fell apart. For 45+ minutes, not a single staff member came by to check on us, ask if our drinks were okay, or take a food order. We finally decided to chase down a waiter just to ask for the bill because we were leaving. That took another 15+ minutes.

When my husband went to settle up, the server actually seemed annoyed and said, “Oh, you’re leaving without ordering food?” Honestly, how could anyone want to stay and order dinner after being ignored that long?

I can’t review the food because we never got that far, but the service was terrible. We left feeling completely unwanted, like they were too busy to care. There are many much better restaurants in Saint-Adèle that value their customers, sadly, this is not one of them.

Inside décor is a little on the older side, but rest assured — they absolutely excel at the reason you came in the first place. The food is outstanding, packed with flavor and clearly made with care. And the service? Exceptional. It feels like stepping back in time to an era when being a truly great host was an art, and every guest was treated like the most important person in the room.

We had a lovely lunch here. Our server was so friendly and lovely! She explained the menu to us which helped us with our order. We ordered the muscles marinara, chicken, Caesar salad, salad, and the lasagna. The portions were large and everything was delicious. The white wine we had was perfectly chilled and we had just a lovely experience at Chez Milot.

Food was very ordinary for the price. Dore was dry, steak was chewy. Paper napkins kind of gave it away before we ordered.

Souper ce soir pour ma Fête avec des amis. Tout était excellent repas et service de Benoît. Merci pour les petites attention. On reviendra avec plaisir. Aller essayer Chez Milot à Ste-Adèle.

Disappointing New Year's Eve 2024 meal, inconsistent soup and starter, slice of industrial log, lousy atmosphere and setting, only positive point, excellent duck breast.

25th wedding anniversary.
Stupid server. No smile it seems we are bothering him.
Soup without any taste.
Osso bucco tomato sauce. Nothing to do with a Bordeaux sauce. Bland taste.
Pasta bathed in oil.
Tasteless fillet of sole.
Unfortunately the price is too high for the food served. $150. It's not worth this price.

After several visits, I share my opinion again. This restaurant is one of my favorites. Very, very good food, impeccable service and very nice atmosphere. I will go back often ;-)

Parking: There are several spaces at the restaurant itself, otherwise street parking is permitted.
