I love Sushi Nagano in Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier. They are so kind and attentive to our desires. Personalized, fresh and tasty, their sushi contains local products and they smoke some of the fish themselves on site. They also offer lots of small sides. Cheese, some varied Asian products, etc.It’s thanks to them that my children love sushi! They recommended varieties that were more accessible to them with algae-free options to start with. Now, they eat a lot of everything and if I ask them if they want sushi, they say yes if it’s Nagano sushi! In short, you understand, I really like this place. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and check them out.

This place bas it's own ideas about sushi like food which certainly have some merit but what they have on offer is very far from traditional sushis and I wished I had been told that fact before I spent 80$ on a box of 30 sushis.Their sushi like creations are smokey, salty and fat instead fresh, subtle and complex like traditional sushis.If that speaks to you, then you'll enjoy Sushi Nagano but if you want a quality sushi experience then stay away.

Congratulations to this waitress who will recognize herself! I didn't ask his name.
