For a restaurant that calls itself a specialist in fried clams, I suggest revisiting your recipe and the name of your restaurant.
Uncooked floury clams… I categorize this Trap experience as tourist. Plus what can I say about frozen fries…. Don't come back

Sometimes you have to queue at the door but it is worth it. Even the table we had at the back of the restaurant gave us a seaview. We arrived without a reservation early on a Saturday evening and only waited a few minutes before being shown to our table. You'll wait longer for a table on the terrace. The restaurant is large and airy and well appointed and delightfully decorated.
The food is excellent and well presented. The price ranged from $Can 25 -38 for mains. I had the carpaccio salmon which was wonderful.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Up there as a favourite restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old granddaughter was in our party. The staff engaged with her readily and made this a welcoming and friendly visit.

This restaurant was recommended to us by my brother. The location is superb and the view from the terrace is very pretty. The food was excellent. Where it got tricky was during service. Our waitress used my napkin to crush a spider but never handed me another one. She served us our soup but forgot to order the rest. When she finally realized that she had forgotten us she apologized... so... but she never followed up with us to check if everything was correct, if we wanted others drinks... in fact... she completely avoided looking at us, worse, I would say she deliberately ignored us. This really shocked me, especially since service is a very important factor for me when I recommend a restaurant and I admit that based on MY experience I would hesitate to do so.

I loved my seafood pasta dish. The only disappointment for the children was that there were no more chicken fillets so there were only 2 choices left on the children's menu and my daughter didn't like the fish ans chip. The fries were really excellent.

Hours are not up to date on the company's web page ?

The waitress made us wait a long time before we could order our draft beers. She came back to take our food order. We spent 1:15 hours there. She didn't give us good service. Good fish & chips and very good cod burger with delicious fries. The waitress did not appreciate the tip.. 15% before taxes.. obvious that she expects 15% after taxes which is 18% in reality. I will never tip on taxes. Let's say for dinner. $67 before tip a little expensive. She looked at my credit card payment.
Disappointing attitude of the waitress...no thanks she left immediately.

Great discovery for us this afternoon. Warm service. Excellent food. We ate mussels marinières and fish & chips. Beautiful presentation of the plates. I loved the decoration of the restaurant with a view of the river. Favorite discovery. I recommend it to you without hesitation.
