You take a bit of a leap of faith when you select guides in South Dakota, coming from Minnesota. Well, I can tell you our experience was outstanding. We stayed in downtown Webster at the lodge, ate and drank well at the local steakhouse and taverns, and had a wonderful time in the fields. Owner Joe and guide Justin were fantastic and boy they could really work their dogs! Joe’s got a husky black lab and he affectionately calls her cheeseburger. I went fishing with Ethan and Carter on February 15 and 16 with my 11 year old son the experience was amazing. It was my son’s first time ice fishing and the guys made the whole trip one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had. I have been with these guys in the past on guys trips and had the same experience so don’t hesitate to book these guys for any age group.
